Could he be franchised 2 seasons in a row?So franchising Henry will be about $12.3 million for the year right?

YesCould he be franchised 2 seasons in a row?
Yeah but I'm sure you know players won't give it their best on a FT.
They will on the first one. They need to play well to get money on the next deal. They are still hungry at that point. On the second, most will hold out I bet.
You can say some don't play hard on the first FT. They want that big guaranteed money at first sight. There's always the possibilty of them suffering a terrible injury while on FT.
You like the all powder blue uniforms???True, thanks guys
Conklin can be replaced. Get Henry signed/tagged is priority #1.
True...but not playing hard is not a good way to avoid injury.
I understand that. But it's not about avoiding injury. It's more about not trying to play for a team who you think probably isn't committed to you long term.
I may have worded it wrong.
He's decent part of the time but easily replaced, imo. Not someone I'd get upset about if they let him walk without even offering a deal. Obviously they didn't feel too great about him or he'd be on his 5th year option now.I just don't get the Conklin hype.

It mostly just centers around there not being better options. Conklin is young, really good, and already has chemistry with our current O-line. Only reason not to keep him is money.I just don't get the Conklin hype.

He's not elite, or one of the greatest to ever play the position, but he's better than anyone else available and a draft pick is a gamble. Why go through that if you don't have too? I can't understand the people who on here that want to disrupt our line on a hope and a dream.
