Between his suspension and his play when he returns he is proving to be unworthy the money the team has allocated to him. His penalties are costly and inexcusable in the red zone. Every single week, Vrabel makes mind boggling idiotic decisions (usually at least one or two), and they usually involve 4th down or challenging something. I said after we won last week he is going to cost us multiple games with that shit. We don't have room for that when the kicker has already cost us 2 games and the o-line has been right there with Santos.Why they didn't just go for it on 4th both times boggles my mind.
Here's the thing. We've got the WR corp to take shots downfield. Davis and Brown can win the vast majority of 50/50 balls over DB's. Plus we have PI, roughing the passer etc in play if its close. Only reason I figure we don't is because the plan is to definitely keep Mariota and point to his "no turnover" run as proof he wasn't part of the problem.
