I'm still worried about the OL. Rarely was MM able to drop back and not have immediate pressure.

And you could tell MM was a little rattled by it. He missed a wide open Sharpe on an out route on one of the few plays he had good protection. But you could tell he was rushing the pass because he was under duress all day.

The good news is, is should get quite a bit better in a about 3 weeks. Browns also have some legit pass rushers, so it's not like they were looking bad against scrubs.

Here comes all the Media attention, but not towards us.... They will barrage that the Browns lost this game (outside of penalties) and we didn't win it.... just like when we embarrassed the Cowboys on MNF.

Yeah, it is concerning. At least Smith actually did something to try to help. Lots of bootlegs and play action and screens. Much better than the flower who just let Marcus be killed.

Things I liked about the game.

1) AJ Brown ... wow. I knew he would be good, but wasnt expecting much early, especially after missing most of camp. Hopefully MM develops some nice chemistry with him this year. Teams wont be able to just double CD all the time anymore.

2) welcome back Walker. How we missed thee

3) DEFENSE ... we pressured the QB, got turnovers and smothered them most of the game. I wasnt expecting much from Wake, but DAMN. He was a beast.

4) King Henry ... looks like he is picking up where he left off. Over 150 total yards and 2 TDs.

5) King Arthur ... called a good game. No easy task going into your first game down a starter at LT and RG.

6) KERN ... dude truly is a weapon. We flipped the fields a few times cause of his massive punts (dude had a 70 yarder). And continued to pin them deep. I think part of that safety should be credited to him.

7) MM ... we scores TDs in the red zone which was nice to see. He was under pressure most of the day, but still managed to put together a solid game with no real mistakes.

Can a punter win an MVP is that even possible??

Our especial teams were clearly better and pretty much kept us in the game when things were tigh.

This sounds pretty lame but it was awesome to see MM8 just slide for the sack when he was one on one with Garrett, instead of taking that hit.

ever since the injury, both him and derek carr have been extremely anxious in the pocket. i think today was a big step in getting his confidence back. yeah he took some hits, but Art proved he could adjust and get MM away from pressure. Once they watch film maybe Marcus will still be alert, but relax and think less so he can really let it rip.

I'm not really concerned about the OL. Two backups in there going against THREE pro bowlers on the Browns DL. Hopefully we see less pressure in future games, and Lewan will be back in 3 weeks.

It was at a point in the game where we already had it won ... I doubt he does that if it's still competitive.

Yeah. It was a big test. OL looked shaky but held up OK considering the circumstances.

Getting lewan back will he huge. I'd move Kelly over to RG as well when lewan is back. OL fixed

Not lame at all. I praised him in shoutbox when it happened. There was another sack where the guy came in untouched and Marcus just laid down.

The team wants him to take unnecessary hits, and he did that today.

Yeah, it should get better. It also helps that we have guys like brown, delanie, and hump put there in addition to Davis. This OC seems to understand that the best way to beat pressure is to get rid of the ball fast and make them pay. Our previous ocs only tried to put more blockers in and that didn't work.

first two weeks of season are always way off what happens the rest of the way. The sad truth is Cleveland will have a better year than Titans.. but save this game for your memories

I think the two teams were fairly evenly matched. The difference today was experience. The browns came in riding a wave of hype expecting to win. The Titans came in angry and feeling slighted.

The browns played undisciplined football. Way too many mistakes and penalties for them. They have a very young team. Need to grow up fast.

It would not at all surprise me if we are contending with the browns for a wild card slot later this season. It's nice to have the tie breaker. It also wouldn't surprise me for the browns to visit LP in the playoffs.

Right now, the Titans path to a division crown is as easy as its ever been. The browns is more difficult. That looks like a four team race in the north to me. In the south, it's us and the cows.

I definitely think the Browns will be better than what they were today and we caught them at a good time when they haven't gelled as a team. They were MASSIVELY undisciplined. The refs were not calling a lot of holding on them their first drive- they just kept on and then they got real chippy and undisciplined. And then the refs started calling a good game. The only bad call I saw was the early whistle on a sack that Mayfield had escaped. Other than that- the Browns were sloppy and undisciplined. That should get a bit better.

Kitchens is a gooballf- I don't know if he can reel that talent in and get all those egos dialed in. That team definitely crumbled under the pressure of they hype. Vrabel is a MASSIVELY better HC. That dude is for real.

And I think we still have a some issues with our OL that weren't obvious because of the Browns gifting us so many penalties. I'm hoping that gets cleaned up this week and when Lewan returns or we won't be able to put away teams that have been playing together for longer than the Browns.

But the Browns aren't better than us nor will they be at the end of season.
