Vrabel has a lot of phases of the game to clean up fast before Thursday, don't think he can do it.

Saw that Henry and Lewis both had 30 snaps each. Is that why they went away from Henry late in the 3rd when he was wearing the Colts out? To make sure Lewis got some snaps?

You would think in a close game between two evenly matched teams, the team forcing two turnovers would win, but it's the Titans we're talking about here. Good teams find a way to win these types of close games consistently. The Titans are a .500 team, give or take a win. Even if they somehow made it into the first round off the playoffs, it would be one and done.

Thinking about if the $200+ I spend on NFL Sunday ticket so I can watch the Titans every season only to be frustrated and angry every other week is worth it.

In post game Vrabel said he wanted to have Henry freshin up for the 4th quarter and that's why they went to Dion.....even though Henry was already looking good, didn't have many carries, and then wasn't even used much in the 4th quarter in a tight game

Exactly why it was beyond stupid... saved Henry for..? Nothing, apparently.

ugly game, quick turnaround this week for TNF also. feels like we lost by 20 but somehow it was only 2.

mary needs to throw it deeper or its gonna be a longggg season

in the end its week 2 and we are 1-1, gotta keep the faith and win the next one.

Mary needs to push the ball downfield but I have no faith that he can actually do that. Throws off his back foot too much. Panics in the pocket. It's time to move on unless he can learn to not be terrified to be a franchise qb.

He doesn't trust his Oline... even when they protect him.

Not sure if he'll gain that back... maaaaaybe if Lewan comes back, but that's a big if.

He needs to suck it up. He had the chance to make a LOT of money.

They were debating, on the radio this morning, whether or not Mariota reinjured himself yesterday, maybe some callers...

It's really more of a... "is that really better..?"

Mariota spiking the ball on third down was totally inexcusable for a Fifth year QB. The only thing i can come up with is that he panicked and lost track of what the situation was. .
Dude I was thinking the same thing. That seemed like a terrible decision. You've got to have a quick out play in that situation.

1. Its Tannehill time
2. I dont wanna hear any crap about our WR group. Corey and AJ would be crushing like Ridley, Kupp, and Juju had they gone to those teams.
3. Bad kicking game for both squads. Santos missed FG could've been the win. Also, we may have just watched the last game of Vinateris amazing career.
4. Lewan cant come back soon enough.

Mariota can't make the throws, that's why he holds onto the ball so long. Mariota is not a pocket passer in the vein of Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, or Tom Brady. So, he will not be good at sitting in the pocket and finding receivers and throwing into tight windows. Rather than risk an INT, he'd
rather rely on his legs or
take a sack. This is not bad, but that needs to be the team's third or forth option, wit the first option being D. Henry or 25-30 touches/game and second option having a D that will give up no more than two TD's /game.

The only challenge I have is that the team game plans as if it needs Mariota to step up and be a good, franchise QB. With his skill set and fragility, he isn't a NFL franchise QB. At this point, they should find a "game manager" QB and rely on the running game and strong D to win games (it can be done, 2001 Ravens). Mariota won't be the reason why/if the teams wins big (make it to the Super Bowl), but he won't lose games for you, if the game plan is to run the ball and play D.

The team must answer this question: How much is he worth going forward? How much is willing to take to be a game manager staring QB rather than a Franchise QB?

Left Tackle was not the issue yesterday, it was the huge holes opening up around the Center/Right Guard area where the line was imploding.
