Davis and brown would be absolutely killing it with a good QB. Both get good separation. Both can catch. Davis could have gotten us easily in FG range if Marcus even looked his way.

To be fair, “All slants” is primarily a pre-snap read, at least as far as picking a side of the field. No QB can read both sides of the field post-snap in 3 steps.

Can JRob be that stupid? He's a smart guy, and giving Mary an extension if we go 8-8 would tell me that Amy forced him to. Amy loves MM8, and that's the only way I see JRob giving MM8 an extension if we have a sub par season. From what I've seen so far, in two games, Marcus will never lead the Titans anywhere but a sub par season.
Hopefully, Amy Adams Strunk will continue to let JRob do his job, and that would be to start working on drafting a new QB for the Titans.

Byard just signed an extension, no way he's being traded, and doubtful he'd fetch a first even soFrankly, if someone would give a first for byard, we should, so we can move up.
Casey would be another option.

Lewan being out is part (albeit certainly not the cause) of MM sucking yesterday.
So trading all these guys, even for firsts, leaves a bunch of holes all over the field for the next guy to fail.
