In fairness though, I think that’s counterproductive. The crowd can absolutely have an effect and it could have been big today in such a close game.
The team is mostly there to have enough reason to not expect crapping the bed especially when the fans can help prevent that and actually give a home field advantage.
The fact that the allure of honoring McNair and George couldnt bring people out is all you need to know on how this franchise is viewed in Nashville.
This team has pretty much sucked the past decade. The only modicum of success is three straight 9-7 seasons, but only one playoff birth. Add into that the third straight first round QB bust, I'm surprised anyone in Nashville bothers with this team
