Marcus sucked today, yes the o line wasn't great but he has to stop getting sacked so much. Dammit just sling the ball 10+ yards more please!

The entire offense had no awareness. Taj running backwards, so many short passes, spiking ball on 3rd and 2. Vrabel punting away on the 2nd to last possession. Art only calling plays for TEs!

New year, new coaches, new players but same ole Titans letting down fans. Good win last week and come home playing all lackluster with no energy. Stupid

Henry gets 15 touches. 15!!! Dion is no use. Henry started picking up momentum then we pull him. That 2 min drill was awful. Some awful tackling amongst all d line and dbs. Pressure was got throughout but god dam we made him look like Hilton greased him up. And that 55 yd run we let through.
I'd rather see Dawkins than Lewis at this point.

Worked well enough with henry last year picking up positive yds
What was that, like 4 plays?
Sweet, some success on the very occasional gimmick play. That’s about what I expect from every team.
No team should be planning on regularly implementing a gimmick, that’s what wildcat is.

We have WR's..

Just lack a QB that can get the ball to the WR's

I think our WRs are mostly fine. What Sharpe did on that 3rd down was an absolute killer though. But a gunslinger like Carr would be putting up 4000 yards easily with these guys.

What a lousy effort, but the playcalling, clock management on that last drive was the worst.

Shame on me for falling for the hype that the Titans might have turned the corner and are a better team this year.

Same old Titans... win one, lose one 8-8 or 9-7.

Mariota was poor today. I've defended him in the past but this is the worst I think I've seen from him. Yes the iOL struggled again and A Smith called a brutal 4th Q... But he missed a couple of easy ones, didn't throw over 10 yards, took a couple of sacks that were on him (missed FG), looked jittery in the pocket, decision making was poor and the time / play management on last drive was frankly shocking.

I wanted an answer to whether he can be the franchise guy and unfortunately I think I've seen a lot of hard, indisputable evidence he's not today.

Titans are 3/20 on 3rd down this season. I think that says everything about this offense and the QB.

EDIT: Corrected to 3/30

EDIT 2: Tweet was wrong, we're 3/20. Either way, that's horrendous.

He didn't tell mariota to check down in the middle of the field with no TOs and force them to clock it on 3rd down...

I think the other piece is that MM has to launch the ball deep a couple times. Doesn’t even matter if it’s complete but all day the colts kept dropping 8/9 into the box.

I listened to the radio call.
Way too many colts cheers there too.

That hurts when you’ve got the McNair bro complementing their efforts when McNair was around.
Weak.

With you on this one. He's not got the ability to throw over 15yds comfortably anymore. This isn't going to work in the long term. I get our oline isn't at full strength but hes gotta throw receivers open. Now hes not triggering so he doesn't getting intercepted until it's too late, look at that throw to walker. Put it this way Kyler Murray 25/40 349 yds 0 td and 0int. Hes on game 2 of his career. We're falling behind

I think most fans knew that this team would shit the bed today and chose to avoid wasting their money on it. I dont blame them

There was a lot of reasons we lost this game.

Not being able to finish a sack. Not being able to stop the colts on 3rd down. Missed FG. Poor O line play. Vrabel has a terrible game management game today too.

But Marcus was bad. He ain’t it man.

In fairness though, I think that’s counterproductive. The crowd can absolutely have an effect and it could have been big today in such a close game.
The team is mostly there to have enough reason to not expect crapping the bed especially when the fans can help prevent that and actually give a home field advantage.

That Murray stat line isn’t the way to prove anything. Murray played the ravens, MM played the colts.
Not saying MM is acceptable, just saying that nothing about the situation is the same.

I get what your saying my point being some 1 in game 2 can throw around a ravens defense not getting picked off and we struggle against the colts to get 1st downs. Marcus is now experienced enough that if he is worth his contract he should be winning this game.

I agree MM should be better but that’s a 1 game thing with too many different factors involved.
I’m sure MM’s first game against TB and Winston can come to mind as how people did the same crap with MM just a few years ago.
