I just started chapter 4

3 is long and yet somehow, ends quickly. Last 3 missions have a lot going on.

i just did the fishing mission last night. that little kid was annoying as hell. arthur shoulda thrown him in the river.

i'm actively trying to finish missions now but i'm still on chapter 2. this game really is long as eff. man the little touches are so good. the wife of one of the people i had to collect money off of for the german guy showed up in camp to pay off the rest of the debt as i was walking through. amazing attention to detail

You are days away still lol. You'll be done by like March.
 
i think March is overly optimistic. i just did the second train robbery last night where you rob all the rich people

You're ahead of me by quite a bit. I'm heading in to rescue some due held by bounty hunters where I'm wanted dead or alive.

I did find the white Arabian wild horse. I kept hitting the wrong buttons so he spooked quite a bit but finally figured it out.
 
Haven’t even done the first mission in 4 yet, too busy catching/hunting legendarys and various challenges.

This has firmly planted itself as my 2nd favorite game of this generation right behind the Witcher. There is just so much stuff to do.
 
finally got to chapter 3 and made it to st. denis last night. what an incredible looking game

Yup. The entire riding through the swamp at night is unnerving, IMO.

My favorite night time swamp encounter so far was a little side mission to rescue someone. I shot the bad guy as he rode away and he landed in some shallow swamp water and bled out. I walked over there in waist deep water to search him and, when I was standing beside him about to search , a gator busts in from behind me, grabs him and takes off.

Had to sit down the controller for a bit after that.
 
This game is a blast. But has anyone actually beat it yet???
Arthurs dead and now we start the f over??? Got some cool stuff going on now with the new character and looks like he will continue on with arthurs old stuff. Still alot of story lines i want completed.
 
I'm still in Chapter 2. I've been roaming around, hunting and fishing. I'm trying to improve my satchel.

I'll probably get back into the main story line soon.

I've not tried online yet but understand it's nothing special right now.
 
Roaming around tonight in the north east area of the map in a dense forest.

The map is showing two corpses ahead. As I approach, I hear a woman whispering something.

Nope. U-turn.
 
I'm a perfect cougar pelt from the Legend of the East Satchel. Shot a few 1 and 2 stars but no luck yet finding a 3.

Anyone having any luck?

Naw man, that one is hard. Cougars as too hard to spot. Often I do not see them before the attack lol. So getting a good shot on one is really hard.

In the first one, I'd drive a wagon to an area sprawling with cougars... kill my horse(s), then I'd just stand on the wagon killing them.

Those cougars couldn't jump up on stuff. I was way up on a rock last night thinking I was safe .

Pounce, pounce, DEAD.
