slow LBs don't transition well in the big leagues anymore. He would get abused by Dion in practice, then by any RB thats not LenDale white in games.

Again, Terrell Suggs ran a 4.84.

1st round pick is off limits, but I think we'd be foolish not to entertain the thought of him with our 2nd pick.

Does he look slow with them pads on though?

any QB inside TOP 2 rounds, Metcalf, Hockenson, Fant, and I'm also hesitant on Polite too

Terrell Suggs played in a different generation of football.

Lmao. He literally just got a 7 million dollar contract to sack qbs. And he's like 37 years old. Your theory is garbage af..and hating on the south, yet being a titans fan? You're the worst

slow your roll cowboy, the south jab was a joke. & terrell suggs got paid for what he has done in the past and how he can help mentor players, just like Wake. We don't need to draft another version of Dodd, And if we can get Brian Burns then no one will care about Polite

I’m worried about Ferrel too. Seems like a solid player but not very athletic and I saw his comparison is Derrick Morgan. He’s no Dodd but I say we go a different route
Man, I couldn't disagree more. Ferrell is the second-best edge guy in the draft.

Plays assignment football on every play. Plays with effort. Wins with speed and first step. Plays with power. Has an inside counter move. Plays the run well. Great length and wingspan and knows how to use both. Elite production.

Seriously, the only argument you can make against him is playing on a stacked DL and not being "the guy."

Clelin Ferrell is definitely my guy this class.

Fry, who do you not like?
I haven't really found someone I don't outright like this year, but I don't watch as many guys with us picking later in the draft. After pick 10 or so, it gets less exciting because you're watching guys who either aren't elite or don't play elite positions(OG/C OR TE).

I pretty much narrow down the positions of need and watch those guys now. This is an elite DL/Edge class. It's been a lot of fun to watch and all of them have something to like. I'm going to do a "Get to Know a Pass Rusher" over the next week or two to highlight some of the guys I like and don't like as much. I doubt I'll have the time to do the DTs, but who knows?

I haven't really started on WRs yet.

I won't waste time on QBs since we'll only take a late one, if at all.

I don't have anyone on my do not draft list unless they have a troubled history like Joe Mixon, Tyreek Hill, etc. But I do have players I rate significantly lower than their projected position. But at some point in the draft their value just becomes too good to pass up (like if Metcalf fell to our 2nd round pick).

Basically, I just want us to avoid any offensive player in the 1st round. There aren't any day 1 starters that have immediate needs at. Sure we need WR, but there isn't anyone I'd spend No. 19 on at this point.

If a highly rated offensive guy falls to 19 and the top DT's/OLB's are gone, then I'd probably trade out.

Other players I'm avoiding til after round 1 are Jeffery Simons (due to injury), Dexter Lawrence, and any S/CB (though Greedy Williams is intriguing).

That's not an answer. You suck at this.

I think Cody Ford is the only offensive player I'd want at 19. I love NKeal Harry, Parris Campbell, Noah Fant, and TJ Hockenson....but 19 is too early.
