So you've got Mariota throwing for 4,000+ yards without a single yard going to a running back, or any TE besides walker. Yeah. That seems realistic.
Don't be dense.. obviously I just listed WRs..like many of the predictions so far
But if you want me to expand on my predictions, here you go...

Henry/Lewis 600 yds

Yes 4650 yds...my prediction my guess

That's it or do you want the entire roster stats predictions?

Lewan pancakes.

Conklin doesn't regain form is not the starter.
I think people are too hard on him. It is just an observation, but there really doesn't seem to be as many "star" tackles as there once were, and not many play at a high level right away. Bahktiari has been an all pro for 3 consecutive years, and they actually seemingly tried to draft his replacement prior to his first nomination in year 4. Mitchell Schwartz didn't receive a nomination prior to his 5th year. Lewan was a wild card prior to year 3. I recall Lane Taylor disappointing for a while. We've only seen Conklin at a period of his career in which tackles typically don't wow anyone. It takes time to see all of the pass rushing moves that there are in the league and not many linemen have the athleticism to mirror these increasingly athletic rushers without the experience

Another factor is the QB who is being protected. Look at who 3/4 of the all pro tackles played in front of-Drew Brees, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers. NE brought in a backup from another team, and now he's the highest paid lineman in the league elsewhere. It seems like their job is much easier when the QB is really good at their own

I wasn't the leaving off players I was disputing.

Marcus Mariota's highest yardage total to date has been 3400, and that was three years ago. You are projecting 4600. That is an increase of almost 1/3.

Put another way, in four seasons, he has thrown for 12,000 yards. You are projecting that he will get more than 33% of that total in one year.

Just can't recall ever seeing a player explode away from their mean like that in year five. Seems unlikely. Hope you're right of course, but seems unlikely.
It's like saying that Sharpe is going to get 1,000 yards. It's not beyond the realm of possibility, but it's unrealistically wishful thinking based on where he is and what he's shown thus far

Hasn't used his athleticism to production?..

Pretty sure if Jake Locker tried catching his own rebound pass, he'd roll his ankle...

Team prediction 2019-20 Americas Game this is the story of The Tennessee Titans Super Bowl 54 Champions, World Champions, WORLD WIDE.

Lol.

Apparently a post I made in this thread was deleted, but I've no idea what I said for it to get deleted... especially intrigued since I try to remain out of the arguments!

Wait, was the Mahomes discussion going on in this thread?

My mistake, I thought it was in the other thread - assuming that's what it was.

Too many of these threads are running together...

Eh I think many of us did. It’s all good. I don’t honestly try to offend anyone...It’s all good debate and fun, but some people get sensitive. Gotta respect it.

It didn’t get deleted it got moved to the appropriate thread. It’s a non qb prediction thread and people can’t help themselves and need to turn every thread into Mariota. So before it got out of hand I moved anything that had his name in it to the correct thread. Nothing personal just trying to keep these threads on topic.

Yeah, I hear you.

Think mine was in reference to the other QBs being discussed, but I honestly thought it was IN the appropriate thread.

You'd think I'd know better with this place after all these years...

Didn't he make First Team All Pro as a rookie?!?!? Star tackles play well from year 1 plenty of times...it is needed and expected.

This is starting to sound like your bs nonsense about...you can't judge a wr until year 3 or 4? Nonsense!

You wanna cut a guy some slack as a rookie...fine. Especially if he's more athlete than football player and needs some technique work. But that's not Conklin. Conklin came in as a plug and play type player. He was rated as an all pro as a rookie...so why is he getting worse? And why are you making excuses for him?

It's funny, in another thread, you bashed Mariota because you said he was getting worse...I see your point. So why don't you apply that to Conklin too? He got our QB killed all year and you wanna make excuses for him?

His ONLY excuse is coming back from an injury. Either he came back too soon and couldn't play...or the injury has robbed him of some mobility and he can't be a starting RT anymore.

Like Mariota, he's gotta earn his spot and play well to earn his next contract. Funny you spend all off-season bashing the QB playing hurt and at least winning us some games. Conklin was much MORE inconsistent and played worse!
