First time since Bennett/ Mason we have 2 1K WR.
Davis and humphries.

Finally beat Luck but only once.
How many yards are you predicting we pass for? Let's be generous and say MM8 throws for 3500. The way I see it breaking out would be:
  • CD - 1000
  • Humphries - 700
  • AJ - 550
  • Walker - 500
  • Lewis - 350
  • Everyone else - 400

A.J. Brown has been impressive enough throughout offseason activities, and recently had the honor of being invited to the NFLPA Rookie Premiere.

Only the Top 40 rookies are invited each year.

Dude gonna get 1k yards
Love your optimism but question the logic involved here haha

I think Mariota hits 3500 this year. And I could see the breakdown you listed but I think Walker has more yards as well as AJ. I think w
My breakout picks are:

Rashan Evans. At ILB and sometimes off the edge, he will begin to look like a guy our defense will be built around for years.

On offense, an underdog pick, Jonnu Smith. He becomes more of a wolf and comes in strong, challenging Delanie for the #1 TE spot even when both are healthy.

I can see that with Evans. I'm not that high on Smith though. He had some bad drops last year. I hope he puts it all together though. Guessing its an issue he could possibly fix. He has the athleticism though. I actually like Pruitt and Firkser. Not as Delanie clones but as reliable pass catchers. Doesn't seem like they drop anything thrown their way.

Titans fans are sleeping on CD. He was starting to ball when Marcus was healthy and able to get him the ball down the field. He's going to have a really good year if Marcus can stay healthy.
They absolutely are. He had 30% of our receiving yards a year ago. Some rookie is going to be better than him next year? Please.

The only reason I could see that happening is if CD is double covered constantly leaving Brown to torch an easy matchup.

But yeah, CD should end with more than brown.

If that happens, I think that Humphries or Walker would be the guys to take advantage of that.

As polished a collegiate WR that Brown was, there is a learning curve to being a polished NFL WR. He's going to need some time before becoming an every down starter, unless he's some sort of prodigy. Which is certainly possible. But if not, we can implement him in a way that can utilize his talents without exposing him.

People mainly trash these young players because they are thrust into bigger roles
than they are ready for. Which makes the difference in a guy with potential, and an inconsistent or sucky player in the eyes of fans.

But it is reported that they are taking as many opportunities as possible in order to teach Brown . But with a good running game, Davis, Walker, and Humphries (who is going to be one of our favorite players to watch), there is no need to rush him into the lineup. We really don't have to touch our WR group for at least another 3 years, which is a pretty awesome position to be in.

One of your better posts as well !!

JK. Brown is a guy who we should be very excited about. But we need to be realistic about those expectations, and when he will meet them (which he absolutely will, IMO)

Sure. I think in honesty, the most we can expect from him this year is to help take pressure off of CD.

Between him, hump, and walker back, teams can't focus on CD so much this year.

And hopefully we continue December's nasty run game to boot.

But brown will make some plays. Teams will get lax on him and he has the skills to make them pay for it.

IF used well, this offense could be multiple and deadly.

His routes were interesting. Never seen some of those moves. He might be a tough guy to cover.

It really is crazy how we went from Davis and Taylor to Taylor fighting for the 4th spot and Tajae as depth. I think both can be good NFL receivers and am glad we have them.

We’re honestly deep and if Brown can take off we have insurance. We really need Taywan to take off and Tajae to be that reliable blanket

  • Sharif Finch will be a better all around player than Landry
  • Woodyard will start to fall off and show his age
  • The team will start with Levin at C and B Jones at RG -- by mid October Jones will be back to C with Pamphile at RG
  • A S, TE and a DL who are not currently on the roster will be on the opening day roster
  • Lewis will continue to disappoint with running, and remain solid in receiving -- then be asked to take a pay cut in February

I think Finch could end up getting good playing time, but not over Landry.

I don't know if Woodyard will fall off, as much as I think Evans and Brown will take over the ILB positions. Evans was really playing well at the end of the year and Jayon was turning into a star.

Cd- 1000 +
Aj, hump and delanie- 650+
Our oline will be top 10
Henry- 1200+ total yards
Our d will rank top 5 in points allowed
We win 11+ games
First round bye in playoffs
