I believe it's likely that hes better than our other backup options, and he certainly has playoff experience should anything happen to RT. Usually I would say he is not good enough for the distraction he would cause. However, with the way things are right now, I think signing Kaep would instantly make us a favorite organization of many players around the league, which can benefit the team in a number of ways.
All that said, I still dont think he genuinely wants to play football anymore. He is doing fine financially, has his activist platform locked down, is 32, and isnt going to be a starter anywhere without injury.
