That's a question only he can answer. Different players have different reasons.

This is a sneaky biased anti-Mariota thread... just utilizing the "retire" word as a way to hide the true intent.

Yeah... I'll be surprised if it isn't deleted, frankly.

IF I may...lol, as an original member of the hateful 8, I said no, he won’t. Why you ask? Because he enjoys keeping us in purgatory. He literally said “I won’t change a thing” about his previous 4 years of play. We couldn’t be so lucky...Hilarity ensues

Unless a person is unable to continue or loses the "want" to play or "love of the game" why would they ever retire?

There's nothing "sneaky" about it

I suggest all the haters read this book

Uhhhh.... for their longterm health? Particularly when you get injured every single year.

And he'll retire when he wants to, like everyone else.
Sure. I was just answering your question. Health, and consideration for longterm health, is a HUGE factor in the decision to retire. And we all know mm11's injury history is extensive.

Bo Dean and Connie Lee were both interviewed and they are claiming Marcus Mariota is a tourist trap. They insists on it. And are prepared to put in on the googles.

Exactly, why are the receivers ALWAYS dropping Mariota passes but somehow manage to catch Tannehill passes? I will hang up and wait for your answer....
Different recievers on the 2nd and 3rd string at times.
But wait!.....why am I answering? That was a ridiculous question considering everyone on earth except for you and a couple others on here see and admit that these were the receivers issues.

While you are "waiting"....what about your comment about the sack for a safety? (As if it was his fault.)
Let me guess....."well, they block for Tannehill. He never gets sacked."

Wait!....I've got it!!!!
You and ABC have convinced them and they are purposely dropping his passes so the team will bench him.
Yep. That's it.

So no wr's have dropped Tannehill passes? Might want to watch the games.

But call me and all coaches crazy, but when the QB delivers a catchable ball, we blame the receivers when they don't catch it, not the QB! That is literally the job of the receiver...catch the d@mn ball!!!

Literally like a dozen qbs had way more dropped passes last year and way better stats. No more excuses please

We weren’t talking about last year stats. We were talking about this preseason and whether Mariota or any qb is responsible for a wr not catching a catchable throw or if it is the wr’s responsibility to catch those balls.

Oooh you’re “cherry picking”
