And y’all wonder I hate Arizonans who ain’t tucsonansThe sooner you give in and believe in Mariota the better you will all be, worship at the alter of Mariota let him guide you to the promised land. Don't look at fantasy stats like Luck and Manning more who put up Tarzan numbers in the regular and play like Jane come playoff time. We have the best QB right now, most of you just don't know it.
Hahahahaha. Oh, you mean guys who make/made the playoffs consistently? Winners? Yeah those guys...The sooner you give in and believe in Mariota the better you will all be, worship at the alter of Mariota let him guide you to the promised land. Don't look at fantasy stats like Luck and Manning more who put up Tarzan numbers in the regular and play like Jane come playoff time. We have the best QB right now, most of you just don't know it.

The best and brightest Phoenix has to offerThis time it's for real in the past some of my predictions my have been seen as a little far reaching. Mariota goals for 2019
1. Stay healthy play all 16 games , which should lead to more games, playoffs.
2. Improve red zone efficiency , back to 2015-16 levels were he was 1st or 2nd in league.
3. Kind of a OL/ QB goal, but allow less than 30 sacks , line has to improve, QB has to make quicker decisions.
4. 20/10 rule, throw more than 20 Td's doesn't matter how many throw less than 10 ints. 20 td's in todays NFL doesn't seem like a lot but if your RB can get to 1500 yards which in our case very possible., and defense in top 5 again very possible , 20td's passing is good.
5. Win 11-13 games.
6. Clear space on the mantle at home for the 2019 MVP, and Lombardy Trophy
Most of their off-air "work" time is spent preparing for their next show, I assume. It sure isn't spent watching tape, as is the case with every single other talking head. Greg Cosell watched the majority of his snaps last year, and presented a good breakdown of him. That's probably the only unbiased or intelligible analysis I've found.Lots of discussion on ESPN's Get Up show on Mariota this morning.
They talked of inconsistencies—how he has been good in the red zone but misses a lot of easy downfield passes. Another said there is no way they can know how good Mariota is because he's had so many offenses to learn.
Pretty typical of the national media who only look at stat lines.
So what was Greg's analysisMost of their off-air "work" time is spent preparing for their next show, I assume. It sure isn't spent watching tape, as is the case with every single other talking head. I believe that he is no fan of Mariota. He has previously bashed his pocket instincts and mechanics. But he did specify his strengths, "firm touch throws" (which I believe to be seam throws), and just a general belief that he'd be more successful if aggressive on third down. He compared him to Goff, meaning that he was a "system QB" who required an effective running game and schemed throws. So what was Greg's analysis
Im not in agreement with his analysis and neither is this guy.I believe that he is no fan of Mariota. He has previously bashed his pocket instincts and mechanics. He was quite complimentary of Davis, and thought that LaFluer did a good job, despite the objections of the homers
Just to keep it simple. Stay healthy and everything else will come into play unless we do some retarded and go into this season leaning on a rb to carry the offense. This time it's for real in the past some of my predictions my have been seen as a little far reaching. Mariota goals for 2019

Mariota has not declined. His stats have. Stay healthy and build the offense around what he does at a very high level which is operating in shotgun and we good. Here’s the thing...Mariota been consistently on the decline, while Henry moving on up like the Jeffersons. Henry hasn’t “sucked”. His YPC is great. The problem is (imo) he is big and too tall. Not a 3 down back and they don’t throw much to him. That’s gonna be the issues. Pay 2 guys or 1
It's everyone else's fault... he could have said that in 4 words.Im not in agreement with his analysis and neither is this guy.
Marcus Mariota is a Star
Yes he could have. So be more appreciative of the fact that he went into great detail why. It's everyone else's fault... he could have said that in 4 words.
