Shredding garbage defenses isnt exactly something to brag about. You think the past few coaches we had before hasnt recognized his weaknesses? Im pretty sure they have, and know more than us in general about Marcus abilities. Now you're just making things up. His arm has won games for us over the year. He just needs to be more consistent at passing and letting it rip but to say he has not won any games based on passing is wrong.
Just off memory last season, him passing won vs Pats and eagles. Now do I think he needs to show more and improve the passing games, yes. But you arguing how he can't win throwing is wrong.Shredding garbage defenses isnt exactly something to brag about. You think the past few coaches we had before hasnt recognized his weaknesses? Two games out of his whole career? Very impressive, bro.Just off memory last season, him passing won vs Pats and eagles. Now do I think he needs to show more and improve the passing games, yes. But you arguing how he can't win throwing is wrong.
No if you read what I wrote, I said just off my memory but if we want to go back last 4 years and find games in which we won because of his throwing than we'll find more examples to debunk your false claims. I mean, he ain't Tebow who can't throw at all and you're claiming that's MM8. MM8 wins by throwing more than running. I can't recall a game in which we won solely on his legs. We don't see him rushing 20+ times in a game. Two games out of his whole career? Very impressive, bro.

This didn't age well huh?I think the direct quote was at the moment. My personal opinion, Tennessee loses on the road next week in Atlanta and Marcus puts on another forgettable performance. Tanny starts the next game at home against the Bills
Also, I don't think Vrabel is married to Mariota. He never drafted him. And Vrabel has done some good things with the team since taking over. I doubt he would tip his hand regardless. Tannehill will start at some point.
Not too hard when you have a QB that won't pass the ball unless the receiver is wide open. Better to take the sack and keep those stats looking good.MM8 with the franchise record for most passes without an INT (169).
Which is also the longest active streak the NFL.
Titans QB Marcus Mariota sets franchise record for most passes without an interception
I'm disappointed it took so long for someone to knock that post. You guys are slipping! Not too hard when you have a QB that won't pass the ball unless the receiver is wide open. Better to take the sack and keep those stats looking good.
Falcons D is garbage without Neal. I'm not getting my Hope's up until he does that a couple more times in a row.I won't be endorsing an extension any time soon, but it's encouraging to see him make some legit big time throws, a couple times feeling the pressure and delivering a perfect strike. I will say he had **** for pass protection vs Indy and Jax, but he also played pretty bad too. With Lewan back and Nate Davis looking good in his action, hopefully Mariota can stay up right the rest of the season and we can see if an extension is worth it. At this point, I'm still firmly in the camp of franchise tag him and see what he might bring back in a trade. If nothing suits you, let him play out 2020 on a 1 year deal and trade everything you can to move up for Lawrence.
Good grief. The guy has played well this season. Can he do better? Sure. But don’t tell me you would be disappointed in this kind of production for the rest of the season. Stats like this don’t get you beat. Not too hard when you have a QB that won't pass the ball unless the receiver is wide open. Better to take the sack and keep those stats looking good.
