Ramsey will go to the Pats, Cowboys or Rams for a 2021 4th round pick.
No need for you folks to get your hopes up.
I'd be less worried about trading a DB to a division rival than most positions. They don't touch the ball and they don't directly affect the QB on defense. Not that I think Tennessee actually lands him but too many of you over estimate the “division” thing.
The jags are going to take the best offer they can get, division rival irrelevant.
Rams and cowboys at least would have cap issues there I would think.
#BRINGJALENHOMEHot nugget :
Jalen Ramsey was targeted 120 times covering AB/TY/Tyreek/OBJ/D-Hop, he’s allowed a 69 passer rating.
Rest of the NFL allowed a 104 rating when covering that group.
JR is the only corner with 300+ targets that allowed -EPA/target (offense is worse off after the play).

More than likely, Tannehill will be our QB for a few more years until we get within striking distance of a QB in the draft like KC. He was always the insurance policy in the case that Marita was hurt or failed. It's better to get the QBOTF right as opposed to being in QB purgatory. I doubt KC would trade those playoff berths and Mahomes for tanked seasons or reaching for someone elset. Ihink Tannehill's career could be like Smith's. they are fairly close so far, with the exception of Tannehill bring more successful with much better numbers
Rams and cowboys at least would have cap issues there I would think.
Please explain what you mean by Tannehill will take over until we are within striking distance of a qb in the draft like KC.
Do you mean he'll hold the seat in an average way until we're bad enough to either pic in the top 10 or close enough to trade into the top 10?
Or do you think Tannehill is the answer and can lead us to a SB win?
Cuz if Tannehill takes over and plays well enough to keep us at 9-7 but not better and not make the playoffs...then we are in qb purgatory as it's hard to trade up from pick 20+ all the way up to 10 without giving up a ton.
The point is that these opportunities DO NOT arise often. This guy has a house in Nashville. On record saying he'd like to be here. Arguably THE best CB- definitely an upgrade over our 1st round CB.
I'd say give up our 1st round and Adoree. We can consider trading away a different player(s) to get back in the QB hunt or ride with a serviceable QB next year. Hell- I'd extend Mariota cheap if I had to for a serviceable QB although I'd ride with Tannehill if this works out. I'd prefer to be in the QB hunt for Fromm- but even with our 1st round pick- we are NOT in the Tua hunt.
This is a rare opportunity.
Absolutely not. Our first round pick is untouchable. We need a QB. I am sick and tired of playing with a crap qb week after week, year after year.
This team could win now if we had a QB. Our secondary is already one of the better units in the league.
I would love to see Ramsey just let our WR go free, and then I will be interested to see if Mariota can hit them.
