NFLPA announced they intend to sue the NFL in federal court. They’ll have a decent case for damages if Goodell or his appointee over rules leagues officer appointed to a arbitrate the case. And things will likely reach settlement before any of this appeal occurs. Pressure play by Goodell to make Watson settle last case.
Haven't they already battled over this in federal court before, and it came down to Goodell has unilateral power over disciplinary action based on what the CBA agreed to.

Don't believe for a second that the NFLPA will file, or stand a snowball's chance of winning a case in a Federal Court. They cannot by the terms of the CBA that they negotiated with the NFL.
