I wouldn't say that we got lucky, I think we got talented ... but we secured none of the talent beyond this year. We're going to loose too many keys and roleplayers, we lost coaches, etc.

If we can be patient for 17-25 more years, I think we will be able to get back on the right track, though.

Just have to continue to improve and get better

The answer is probably somewhere between the 2 choices.

We got some nice pieces, but we are going to have to be really smart/lucky this off season.

Besides the addition/subtraction of players, we now need to win the game we are suppose to win, win the AFC south and shoot for home field. If today's game was in nashville, i think we win.
If this game was at home that means we were a 1 seed.

I dont think it will take being the top seed to knock out KC, but playing on the road 4 weeks straight certainly took a toll.

Hard to say yes considering how many free agents we have. I’ll wait and see how the off season goes It’s almost like we won the Super Bowl because half our team is free agents and it seems like when a team wins the super bowl everyone signs even their worse free agents to insane contracts and steals some of their coaches.

In what way did we get lucky?

I don't really agree with the "luck" part but I do not think we've turned the corner. This was not a normal "run" in the playoffs, we got hot at the right time.

I don't trust this OL or half the defense. Still lacking too many pieces. This run is likely fool's gold .. so I voted no.

Ill disagree that we lack too many pieces. What are we missing? A guy opposite Landry and?

Assuming we retain Henry, tannehill, conklin, and Logan ryan I'd say the only pieces we are missing are a starting edge rusher, a speedy receiving weapon, and depth at OL, QB, RB.

all easy gets if we take care of the names you listed

half the OL can't pass block. how about multiple people opposite landry? Casey is likely gone and if he's not he probably should be. Our corners are .. meh. Ryan is fine, Jackson is too inconsistent.. same for Brock if he's even still here. Butler is a question mark.

and lol you just agreed with Tricky after he listed 5 positions.. "easy gets"..

still need a kicker as well

I didn't choose... this is not a black & white question.

Too much gray area until we get into next season.

This mindset seems comparable to proclaiming the Offensive Line was FIXED after one season with the DeMarco Murray running game...

We have a kicker signed thru 2021

I get your point. Getting hot at the right time is how most teams have to do it though. I'd argue the fact that we even showed we were capable of actually doing that was "turning a corner". Back-to-back playoff victories against NE in NE, and the #1 seed BAL in BAL... those are things this team has not been remotely capable of doing in years past.

This team seems to finally be on a legitimate upward trajectory. I will stop short of saying we are gonna be perennial AFC championship game contenders or anything lol. But there's no denying it's better now than it's been in many, many years.

We did get hot, that’s what always happens, unfortunately for us we met a team, lead by a qb that was just hotter.

Just remember; BTT said Marcus was not a problem

Keep that in mind when reading his posts on the personnel
