Said this few weeks agoThey literally have Napoleon Dynamite and Uncle RICO as their QBS!!
Didn’t look that far back lol I didn’t think about it until ESPN showed that video of him and Uncle Rico yesterdaySaid this few weeks ago
2019 baker mayfield:He worries me. He's Baker without the baggage.
He is a legit game manager right now. He won't make many mistakes, and makes several big plays per game. We could win with that, and so could the Jags. And he could definitely improve. It's better than having a 5th year QB who needs great protection and weapons to be a below average QB.2019 baker mayfield:
59 comp%, 1147 4/6. So far he stinks this year with the additions of OBJ and Landry (I suppose Taylor too, but seriously)
I’m not worried about mayfield.
Aside from this, Minshew has played 4 games.
He’s avg 225 a game and has a 7/1 TD/INT ratio. Absolutely nothing special at all unless comparing to other 6th round picks not named Brady.
Currently 22 in att, 21 in yds, tied for 10 in TD. He’s playing game manager right now. He only looks somewhat exciting to some titans fans due to our QB situation/history.
It should be noted that apparently he’s nicknamed the “jockstrap king”.
Not the name one should be aiming for.
Brissett has at least had some impressive performances scattered over a couple different years. Not sold he’s really a legit starter but I’m closer to that thought for him than Minshew.I'm not concerned with Minshew or Brisket until the entire year is done.
Ok... the Jeremy Lin comparison I believe was mine originally. But I agree.Brissett has at least had some impressive performances scattered over a couple different years. Not sold he’s really a legit starter but I’m closer to that thought for him than Minshew.
Guy has FOUR games. That’s it. At no point in any QBs life over the entirety of NFL history has someone ever been considered anything remotely close to permanent after four games of performance and there are many that have outperformed what he’s done.
So far, he’s Jeremy Lin except on a smaller scale. He’s not even level of flash in the pan yet. He’s game managed 4 games.
This is what happens when the Titans continuously fail with their QB, we see marginal guys like Minshew after a couple pretty average games and move him up the list of QBs among any number of comparisons.

Be my guest in comparing him to Mariota, doesn’t change my point at all.Minshew has only started 4 in a half games for the Jaguars, and you could argue he kind of looks better than Marcus.
Marcus cant even throw bubble screens.

How's this for a dry spell: on 11 straight dropbacks in the first half, Minshew went incompletion; 1-yard gain on third-and-7; sack; four incompletions in a row; two sacks in a row; 9-yard gain on second-and-16; incompletionYep. Tendencies will be noted. Weaknesses will be discovered.
