Mett is the first person I thought of when Mint Chew came out of the tunnel. Haha.
Seems to be the same goofy personality. Possibly a much better NFL QB than Mett though.

Me neither.
He’s played pretty good his first couple games but I’d say the win is way more about the Jax D than anything he did. That’s also the only win to talk about since they’re also 1-2.

Minshew hands down outplayed Mariota....Is he a star? No. He hasn’t faced elite defenses yet...Ours is solid, but I’ll hold off and let teams get tape on him etc. That being said, dude is leagues above Mariota in his first year.

For a sixth round draft pick that didn’t even get an offer going into college, had to play community college just to try and get sometime going, he’s playing pretty damn good so far.
I have to admit, I really like a story where no one thinks they can do it, then through shear desire and work ethic they succeed.
Don’t know if he’ll have any longevity but gotta feel good for a guy that is clearly overachieving through determination and work ethic. As opposed to most of our roster that seems to consistently underachieve!
