OK name them. I’ll name the muffs, the bad decisions for fielding and missing. I can go one on one.

What he did in college doesn’t mean chit- this is the NFL. Completely different caliber of opposition.
Also gotta count the ones that were called back due to dumb holding penalties. Hes had some good kick returns too. Stupid to keep Jennings on as a kr only

2017 - AJ25. 25 KR with a 23.1 yard avg. good for #6 in the NFL

2018 - Jennings 22 KR with a 31.7 yard avg. good for #1 by 2 full yards and his 1 TD is 1 more than AJ25.

Case closed. Jennings is worth the KR spot. That’s without the additional liability AJ25 becomes as a DB because he can’t do two things.

Yeah what else can Jennings do? Nothing. Waste of a spot and he hasnt done anything this year. Even the returns hes had hes struggled.

Why can't Jennings return punts too?

This year he has 7 returns with a 21.0 avg. if he had more returns, that’s good for #8. League leader has 13 returns.

The importance of this ties directly into the touchback moving to the 25. Less and less returns are happening (1 per game Tennessee- < 2 for the LL)

I suppose that means anyone can just stand there and take the TB every time (almost) but based off last year vs. 2017, an 8 yard difference in KR avg is huge. That difference is why Jennings has the job. Maybe over the year his numbers will increase, but I’d also say his League leading #s have contributed to more TB kickoffs against the titans.

He's not worth the roster spot. Jackson could easily do just as good.

PFF still loves Adoree. Have him as the 23rd best CB in the nation.
On my HT football focus list I have Adoree ranked as the second best KR on the team behind Jennings who makes appx. $720,000 to just return KO.

Good thing he was the best in the entire league last year.
Jennings contributes in no other way and half the games he doesn't even contribute at all. Hes an ok return man but not worth the spot. It's a joke
That was really for you, but with this clear money issue you have with Jennings (despite being the NFLs best KR), what are you looking for that he needs to be replaced with?

Cause before I let go of the best KR in the league, I’d gladly let go of an overpaid backup QB that has played himself into absolute expendability.

Jennings hasn't done anything at all this year. He had one fluke year. Aj can do exactly what hes doing this year. In fact he's a bigger threat

Based on what?
Previous experience? Already showed you he’s not better or even the bigger threat KR.

The dude is irrelevant outside of kr. Hes only averaged like 3 more yards than aj. You think 3 more yards should earn him a roster spot? Nooo. He's terrible and has terrible hands at wr when he does have the ball thrown his way. We could use his spot for a wr that can actually catch when called upon.

First, we’re only talking about KR. I’d never argue for Jennings to play WR.
Second, 1 of these 2 guys has led the ENTIRE league in KR avg for an ENTIRE season. That same one also has 1 more KR TD than the other.

If you didnt go back and re-read the posts that already had this information.......it’s Jennings.
He is the better KR and at pennies for an NFL player, it basically costs nothing to keep the better KR (and the guy who just led the league) returning kicks.

Jackson needs to focus on being a good CB. It's no surprise his play increased after the PR duties were taken from him. We have enough receivers on offense, the issue there was having a QB that could actually get the ball out.

Jackson needs to stick to his core position, at least for the foreseeable future.

As for Ryan, the guy has been a beast. I'm not sure what he'll cost, but I really think they need to extend him.

Not this year. Adoree is averaging more on kr.

AJ has 1 return for 23 yards.
Jennings has 7 for 147. 21 yard avg.

I’d say KR in general has been pretty null. 2 yard difference at that low anyway isn’t really a big deal.

Which proves my point. Just let aj do it and save a roster spot
