Considering Tre’Davious White was also available? Yes.

Guy has outplayed Adoree their whole careers and was picked 9 picks later.

Once again, poor positional evaluation and drafting on Jfrauds part.

LOL.

So we going to rip all the other 27 teams for passing on him too? This post is silly.

Evaluating the pick of Adoree has nothing to do with who was picked after him. You evaluate the player himself. Adoree is playing like a shutdown corner, and played well most of last season too. This absolutely was a good pick.

Adoree offered the added bonus of having been an explosive punt and kickoff returner in college.....unfortunately for some reason that has not translated in the NFL

I would love to see a few more game changing plays out of Jackson and Evans

The thing that gets me with adoree, he's there or there abouts to disrupt the reciever for a dropped pass and yes he's not eyeing the ball for picks but will be in coverage if needed. However the 1 or 2 mistakes that he makes always seems to be punishing. PI calls or dodgy catches on the return.

Overall I'm happy we got him fairly solid Corner with good speed. Just has bouts of dodgy hands.

Ryan is having a Pro Bowl season so far. But, with this being a contract year, the Titans might not be able to keep him.

I assume Adoree will need to be ready to take on a larger role.
Man, the day we resigned Byard I said Ryan has to be the next extension and folks laughed at me. Dude does everything and is a pros pro.

Adoree needs to be returning punts again. Hump is terrible at it. He has a fumble on the season just like jackson but his was fortunate enough to not be lost and he also makes terrible decisions. At least adoree can go the distance or at least a threat too

Did you see AJ25 return punts?

Me neither. At least the ones that counted with no penalties.

He can stick to DB only. I’d prefer him stay far far away from PR.

Im just sayin hump is no better.
Let’s consider that neither actually return the ball much.

AJ25 has 3 recorded returns this season in 6 games as returner.
Hump has 7 recorded returns over the 3 he has played PR.

AJ has 26 yards
Hump has 37

Yes AJ’s avg is slightly higher (8.7 vs 5.3) but he only actually returns the ball once every 2 games. They both have a fumble, 1 was lost.

I think removing AJ from these duties also carries back into last year when he makes questionable decisions like fair catches or when to get away from the ball instead of trying to return from inside the 10.

And here’s the problem with our fan base. People who don’t watch games and feel compelled to comment. I bet you think Mariota played a great game on Sunday.

Hes talented enough that I dont mind him tryin to return the ball from the 10 if it's there. Just saying dude is a playmaker with the ball in his hands and he should get a chance on kickoffs or punts. Kind of ridiculous we use a roster spot for a kick returner only in jenning .

AJ25 has the unearned reputation of being a playmaking returner. He makes as many bad plays as any of the few good returns he ever made. I honestly don’t recall any significant great plays he ever made. But I sure remember several bad ones.

I can name several. Everytime hes gotten the ball on offense it went for a big play. In college he showed it too at returning and on offense. Hump is awful back there

OK name them. I’ll name the muffs, the bad decisions for fielding and missing. I can go one on one.

What he did in college doesn’t mean chit- this is the NFL. Completely different caliber of opposition.

I don’t want AJ returning punts but I wish we would let him play some snaps on offense every now and then. In the past it seems like he always made good plays, that was before Vrabel came along though.

The special teams and gimmick plays wear him down. He is more valuable as a fresh cornerback.
