Just switched from Hulu Live to YouTube TV. Here’s my observations:

1) There is less lag and pixelation with YouTube TV.
2) Video quality is more poor with YouTube TV.

So, either you value resolution and don’t care about consistency, or you care about consistency and don’t care about resolution.

Maybe, one day, we will get high resolution and consistent speed...

In what way?

Showtime has Shameless, Billions and that black shameless show
I didnt like the last season of Billions and decided to skip Showtime for this season. I will wait until they have a free weekend or after the season is over, order it for 1 month and on demand it.

OK, so I signed up for Hulu+Live TV for the promotional free week before being charged and we couldn't watch anything all the way through because of an error that kept popping up so I dropped it the 3rd day in after multiple attempts of trying to watch something. I did a search and a lot of people were complaining about it around the same time. Junk service. Moving on.

I dropped all cable except for the local channels. So I get like abc, nbc, cbs, fox, etc for just a few bucks per month. So I dont have to worry about antennas and all that BS. Get chrystal clear HD local channels.

Then got the 600mbps internet to stream everything else. Zero issues.

My bill went from $212 per month to $108 per month. I feel like I shoulda just went with 300mbps internet. I could have knocked it down to like $80 per month

Im hoping that as Hulu TV, Youtube TV and others enter the market, Comcast will realize they can't hold everyone hostage forever and drop their prices. Seriously, it's more expensive than similar services anywhere else in the world.

Charter has had a streaming service for over a year. Comcast will either go down in flames or adjust to the times.

In my case, comcast is still getting my money because I need their internet to stream hulu and other tv services.

Last night me and the wife were disgusted with how we are paying $150 for TV/internet that has almost no tv programming worth a damn what so ever. I mean we literally can never find anything to watch because all of the channels have nothing but new or repeat crap on them.

I find myself streaming more and more since I retired. Truthfully the ONLY stations I watch are the locals, just for local news...as bad as it is, The Science Channel, BBC America and Motor Trend. That's it...everything else I stream...watching some really bad sci fi movie on netflix right now...still beat most of the other bs on Direct or cable.

Dropped Direct tv, gonna try YouTube TV, it seems to have pretty much all the programs we watch. Other than for movies and such. We will still do Prime for that. Btw, we were spending 225 a month for direct, even more when I had nfl Sunday ticket

For those who dont mind watching illegal streams, I've found the most amazing apps ever. Basically every single channel you can imagine including Sunday ticket. Even has local news stations from across the US, im currently watching abc 2 Nashville from here in California.

It reminds me of the old hacked satellite cards, works great now, but who knows how long it'll be before it gets shutdown. But if interested, pm me and i can set you up with links and how to setup if needed.
