Dodd made 4.2 million in his 2 years I'm sure he doesn't care
He showed every little bit of that care on the field.

that said, 4.2 million sounds like a lot, but I have no doubt he’s working a regular job now with hardly that to speak of.
Statistically speaking, lottery winners go broke quickly. NFL contracts are very akin to winning the lotto.

I keep hearing that...I would love 4.2 mil to test that out ;)

I suppose all kinds of speculation here.
ATL may not be the best of their division.
I think you’re going off last year as far as conference and for conf contenders it looks like SF/PHI vs KC/BUF/CIN so doesn’t seem too uneven for conf.
And how THill fits into all that specifically makes about zero difference whether someone thinks he’s capable of winning a SB or whether he’s an avg guy that a team has to carry.

the logic for that trade idea makes little to zero sense even overlooking the ATL current QB roster.

It makes sense because Art Smith and Tanne have a connection. Tanne had his best seasons under Art. And Art is in a make it or break it year going into year 3. If Atl does not make the playoffs, or at least go 9-8, Art will be fired. And relying on Ridder to get you there is extremely risky to say the least.

NE also makes some sense since Billy B is likely to retire in the next 2-3 years and Mac Jones clearly ain't it.

I'd say there is some pressure from upper management to play Ridder since they drafted him. Art is in a really tough situation. Either way, I don't think Art makes it past this season.

Ridder was a 3rd round pick. It's not like they have a lot invested into him. But there probably is some pressure to see what they have in Ridder to know whether they need a QB in 2024 or not.

Glad that saga is finally over. Jets seem like they got a damn steal, though I guess the Packers backed themselves into that corner. Likely would have had better offers when QB needy AFC teams like the Raiders still had a hole at QB and hadn't already spent most of their cap room.

The Jets are a circus and they just added the greatest clown they could get to make it even better.

Rodgers was already thinking retirement... At most I think the Jets get 2 years out of him.

I bet if the Jets don't make a playoff run (which they probably won't), Rodgers pouts his way into retirement.

he did nothing special when he won it over Henry

average QB numbers for this era of football vs something only done 6 or 7 times

**** him

I think Henry should have won too, but 48 passing TDs (51 total) and a 70% completion percentage is not average for this era of football.
