You guys do realize that deaths from COVID-19 don’t replace deaths from all the other examples you’re giving? These are new deaths. The heart disease fatality rates remain the same. So do the flu fatality rates. These fatality rates are added to those. More people are dying.

I imagine China has kept their approach much more under wraps which is why their numbers appear to be decreasing.
Either that or they’re also killing those infected.

My coworker is from Taiwan and has family that still live there. Her family says it is actually getting better over there and businesses are starting to slowly ramp back up.

I don't necessarily think they are lying about it getting better but have just been lying about how bad it really was.
