Intersting topic came up of possible teams going in for Cam and we're in there.

What's everyone's thoughts on this giving his past 12 months of play. I mean I'd be up for the experiment.

Also means I can have newton throwing to moss deep on a titans theme team in madden.

Yea the good outweighs the bad. Can get Cam and draft Eason. Both have similar arm strength just Cam has the mobility that Eason doesn’t.

all for cam with eason

… no?

Cam has been trash since he got embarrassed by the Broncos in the Super Bowl.

I'm fine bringing him here, but at what cost? Mobile qb that is losing his mobility ... wouldn't overpay for him.

A lot of that has to do with injuries. That's the only downside I see to him currently. I'm not opposed to him coming to the Titans since we will be drafting a QB in the Draft anyway

if we signed cam we wouldnt be taking a qb high, cam is gonna have a pretty big market and will get a solid deal

True...at this point it would probaly be better to draft a guy for the future (again) rather than sign Cam.

No. He's not the same cam that won mvp all the hits he took over the years running and taking on linebackers have taken it toll.

I like the idea of a vet at QB next year while the QB we draft sits for the first year (pending vet health).

I think Cam will be too expensive for "groomer and get out of the way". Plus I think his personality wouldn't allow that type of role.

Not that I don't think he would be alright here (pending current injury) but I can't see him as long term answer.

Yeah he wouldn't. Especially the way our O Line give up hits lol

disagree, our defense is good NOW. if we draft a guy he wont be playing well until our good defense isnt as good. cam is above average and thats exactly what we need right now

This team is built to win now! And you got to have a qb to do that. Cam major upgrade at the position and we can still draft one in the draft. At this point I do not trust this organization to draft a qb. Track record has been terrible

I thought our track record was decent ... I mean, didnt we drafted McNair not even 30 years ago? #winning

I'd be happier with that line of thinking the longer Carolina lets him ride the pine and heal.

Say we sign Cam, don't go QB early, that still leaves the OL a mess.
I still think the D needs better pass rushers but the team is built to withstand a good offense even without it.

IF, this attempt is a no-kidding attempt to make THE SB run, OL should be invested into with 1-2 FA AND 1st round, plus more, picks.

Outside that, the only other hold back that I see is the coach or OC. Maybe a new competent QB and a new OL fixes the majority of the offensive issues.

idk, I think if we draft a QB in the 1st, he is going to start

we wouldnt be drafting a guy in the 1st if we sign cam.

if we didnt get cam and drafted one he would obviously start... but we wouldnt accomplish anything with a rook.

There will be lots of questions about his future health. He might take a one-year deal to "prove" he's back but who knows if he can be as effective running the football. He has a lot of wear and tear.

FWIW, Locker had a Lisfranc injury in '13 which ended his season. He was back for the first game in '14. I'm sure each injury is different.

Many Titans fans remember the Cam endzone antics a few years back so I don't know if adding him to the roster would spark the fanbase.

Considering this offensive is scheme is straight butt cheeks and only likes long developing routes, oddly enough, that is what Cam is good at. He has the arm for it. So if for whatever reason this team keeps Vrabel, he might be a decent fit.

Just don’t ask him to throw too many short crossing routes or screens.
