Butler is definitely worth keeping. There are not enough starting caliber CBS to have two on every team and nowadays you need 3. Adores and Butler have to stick and hopefully we can keep Ryan too.

My understanding is that each team can place 2 players on the IR and return list....they have to be on IR for 6 weeks before they can practice and 8 weeks before returning to the active roster.....Butler went on IR on Nov. 5.....so 8 weeks would have him return for wild card weekend.....I’m not sure how playoffs play into things???

i dont think playoffs affects that rule, but his injury might be worse than that
 
They changed the rule last year so a player that can come back is after 8 games and not after 8 weeks. So we had a bye week after he got out on ir.
So he could come back after wild card weekend.

In 2018, the rule was slightly modified due to timing of team bye weeks so players are only eligible to return after their team has played eight games instead of after eight weeks.

I believe he is done for the season regardless.

I’m pretty sure you can only activate 2 players from IR and we have done so twice this season.
 
Simmons was on the DNI list so he doesn't count toward IR so Succop only one so far.
