We have a long time to talk this subject but I think a pass rusher has to be the top priority.
 
Defense defense defense. This team is close. Need a true burner at WR but defense is priority #1

Sign Chris Jones
Sign Yannick Ngakoue
Draft CB
Resign Tanny (for much cheaper than 3 weeks ago)
Draft QB
Resign Correa
Franchise Henry (or resign)
Resign Pruit
Fix the Oline somehow
 
First we need a defensive coordinator who isn't 100. His plan was to play soft and hope they stop them at the 20 yard line. That is a stupid plan and if your players are that bad then you shouldn't even show up to the game. Pees lost the game by himself.

Fuck that. If we're going to give the Henry the money everyone here wants to give him he better get the ball every damn snap.

You don't give the guy premiere money to carry the ball less.
 
Pass rush 100%. Look at the 49ers, they can get pressure and sacks without blitzing much.

Arthur smith lost it too by calling pitches to henry instead of pounding it. Do you realize he only had 3 carries in 2nd half...

Can't believe that. The first quarter he was on fire with the playcalling. Going conservative before half killed us it felt like.
 
I also agree that Pees needs to go. Rushing with three guys and the occasional four and never getting close gave Mahomes soooooooo much time to throw.
 
Definitely need to draft or sign a pass rusher or DT that can get at the QB.

With Tannehill being our guy it's time to get rid of those prehistoric passing plays and find a way to get our WR's the ball.
 
We either need a pass rusher or a defensive coordinator who can scheme it. Need a young, fast RB to be a change up from Henry. Still want a new OL coach too. Can’t depend on your RB rushing for 150 every game to win and our OL is every bit as bad at pass protection as they were earlier in the season
 
Pass rush is the number one priority. Outside of a few games this season, Casey, jones, etc. were invisible.

I'd also let Logan Ryan walk. Once Butler went down, he was exposed and defenses picked on him for weeks.

Tag Tanny and give henry his extension. Then cut lewis who has been useless
 
Bottom line, we definitely need to get this defense up to the task. Our offense can get the job done as long as we have a top shelf defense.
