He's going to land. While Belichek has established a culture, and missed practice pisses Brady off, Belichek came from a regime that had different rules for different players with the Giants. And that won them a few superbowls. He doesn't play by the rules himself. I could see it happening. Obviously he likes Houston too.

And this isnt like working at Jiffy Lube, each player is a private contractor. Look at pro athletes like their own small business. Sometimes business leaders will butt heads in a partnership.

This seems to be a foriegn concept but that's how it is in the nfl. Not your average arrangement

If you hire an independent contractor to replace your roof and he's one of the best in the COUNTRY, you would put up with his shit if all the other contractors available will give you a roof that will last 2 or 3 years and his roof will last 15.

If you had a viable option, then yeah fire him... but you don't, frankly.

Uhh I don’t care how good they are if my contractor threatens to punch me and calls me a cracker he isn’t working with me
 
It’d be like a guy agreeing to do your roof in the summer, and the middle of September rolls around and he gets frost bite on his feet and hasn’t started your roof yet.

Roofer isn’t worth shit if he isn’t putting up the roof.

And before he will even go on the roof he has to spend weeks finding the right work belt to wear

I don't think he would fit here because the culture and offense would only frustrate him. But that makes us less of a team. He's pure talent at the one spot we have always needed it. The last time we had a top tier receiver goes all the way back to 1995. We've been through Moss, Slaughter, and other experiments before, but never worked here. We always come back to throwing to the Tight End. So sad.
