We are in good position to get one of the qb, that's a good thing, and a bad thing. Most of these qb are small school, and nobody stands out as great. But we are in the perfect draft position to snag one. So do it. End the debate. Let's give one of these kids a bank roll and see what we get.

I would trade up to get the best one of a bad lot. Pittsburgh, Carlina, and the Saints ( maybe) will be in the market ahead of us. Washington and Denver may want something shiny to hang a hat on. So we likely have to move.
I don’t think titans have the firepower to trade up but having the late pick with a weaker (appearance anyway) class allows one of the top QBs to even be available with a later pick.

If it was a solid class of QBs (or just overhyped per the usual), no way a QB falls to 26 unless we’re talking about the 5/6th best rated guy.

I wonder if he wasn’t trusted or if Vrabel was just that invested in his 2 pt conversion decision, aka going for it vice kicking the FG by decision, not lack of faith in Fat Randy. May not know the answer for sure but Randy was only 1/1 from 50+ all year.

It almost seems like a coaching decision vs a trust thing. Vrabel has always coached aggressively and typically on short yardage plays on our side of the field, he has opted to go for it. It was fairly windy that night though, and you're right on the 50+ yard attempts for Randy this year.

OK... wtf ever... I was there and I have been there when it was windy... it was not particularly windy

Ok. Didn't realize you were there. Maybe it was just windy in the section she was in. She didn't say it was hurricane winds or anything, just that it was a little windy throughout the game, and she wished she had brought a toboggan and a bigger face mask or a gaiter.

I'm a big draft junky, so congrats on being the first person to ever take a guy that I've never heard of in the top 40.

Jeremy Ruckert is a TE I really like too. Trey Smith is my number 1 target at TE in the draft, but if we don't have a 2nd rounder, we will have to trade up to get him.

Ruckert is one of the best blocking TEs in the nation. Definitely a project in the receiving game, but he's very athletic, so the talent is definitely there to mold.

Can't say that I agree with the rest of the draft though. I'm not liking Carson Strong in the 1st round at this point in time.

Any thoughts on Trey McBride or Isiah Likely? Tight ends, most people know who the first is obviously. Other guy i never saw play but apparently he's gaining some added attention heading towards the draft

Some people said that McBride looked really unathletic at the Senior Bowl. Of course he caught a TD in the game, so others will say that he impressed. I'm kind of mixed. He put up stupid catch numbers and people here raved all year. But he wasn't really a big play guy.

I don't think Likely played up to his hype. Even at Coastal Carolina.

The TE that I really like is Jake Ferguson from Wisconsin.

Interesting, im hoping we take a TE in the draft. Ideally one that fits our run heavy approach but can still make some big plays

That would be the most uninspiring draft class in the history of this franchise.

Doesn't it seem like every draft class is that way though? Aside from 1 or 2 picks, most of the guys taken are guys we've never heard of or guys we think were extreme reaches. And J-Rob tends to be right more often than not (aside from 2020).

At this point I think any pick spent on the offense works for us. I hope we can keep Harold Landry and just spend every pick going BPA on offense this draft. More then any single position we just need youth on offense generally.

I think we are most likely to go WR and there are a few guys that I think will be available when we pick. I would love any of Jameson Williams, Chris Olave, or Jahan Dotson. I also think that Jalen Tolbert could be a dark horse for our pick though it be a bit of a reach. If we trade down then he is definitely in the running for second round guy

AJ Brown and Olave together would be special. I would love if we could somehow pull this off.
