They open every season with a neutral site game against a P5 team. Bama isn't ducking, they're being ducked.

when 1 loss knocks you out of contention even though you play harder games, it mattersI'll never understand conference or schedule fan guy. Especially now. There is a playoff to decide who the best team is. No reason to argue about who has a tougher regular season schedule.
ur right its not a powerhouse like the mighty WCU... LoLWhen your loss is to Purdue, it matters.
And Bama will do what they're supposed to do against garbage. Beat them badly. Not lose in prime time.ur right its not a powerhouse like the mighty WCU... LoL
a look into the alabama scheduling processAnd Bama will do what they're supposed to do against garbage. Beat them badly. Not lose in prime time.
Care to elaborate? To say schedule doesn’t matter because there is a playoff is pretty real dumb. Lol
Because schedule plays a part when the committee is deciding on the top 4...Care to elaborate?
Maybe. Could have been who they lost to and when it happened vs. the other contenders. That’s not what I was talking about anyway. The schools in the hunt all have schedules that are as similar as can be. If anyone has a “cupcake” schedule, it’d be Clemson and they’ve done pretty well in the playoffs.Because schedule plays a part when the committee is deciding on the top 4...
Pretty sure the soft out of conference schedule took Baylor out of the discussion in year 1 of the playoff.
I don’t think anyone can, nor should they try.clemson does not deserve to be #2 right now... change my mind
