Marvin Harrison is good enough to justify a trade up. I don’t think we do it, but I’m surprised more teams aren’t reportedly trying to move up to get him.
I would do whatever it takes to get him

I'd love to draft Harrison but I think we have too many holes to fill. We would have to move up to what? 3rd? I'm thinking every team would love to have him.I would do whatever it takes to get him

I don't see AZ passing on Harrison at 4...what do they do with Murray? No one is taking on that contractRealistic possibility:
1. CHI - Williams
2. WAS - Maye
3. NE - Daniel’s
4. MIN - McCarthy
5. LAC - Bowers
6. NYG - Penix Jr
7. TEN - MHJ or Nabers
You can call me crazy but this is a serious QB group plus Harbaugh LOVES tight ends and could still get a starting WR in round 2.

To try expanding on your research:I would like to believe it - but every year we hear that QB's are going 1,2,3,4 or at least like 4 out of the first top 9 picks..... at by draft day, it fizzles out.
Plus it almost never happens. The max it has ever reached has been 3 QB's taken in a couple dating back to 2017. But 4 QB's in the Top 9 has NEVER happened (at least dating to 2016 - i stopped researching before 2015 lol). And actually we're planning on an even crazier stat with that assumption... that 4 go in the Top 6.
If all that does occur, I still don't see anyway around what was probably already going to happen... with LAC going for one of the three WRs - they literally did nothing this offseason for the receivers except let em walk.
To try expanding on your research:
2023 - 3 of first 4 picks
2021 - first 3 + 11 and 15 - 5 in 15 picks
2020 - 3 of first 6
2018 - 3 of first 7 + 10 - 4 top 10
2017 - 3 top 12
2012 - 3 top 8
2011 - 4 top 12
2006 - 3 top 11
2004 - 3 top 11
1999 - 5 top 12
87 - 3 top 13
83 - 4 top 15
71 - top 3
65 - 3 top 12
the frequency of more QBs taken early is higher but 2024 looks like it may give a go at the record, 1999 had 5 QBs top 12 and 2021 had 5 top 15.
I wasn’t posted to contradict you. It’s just for historical reference (including prior to 2015). And I show the proof of your 4 in the top 9 never happened. Closest was 4 in top 12.I said no more than 3. And I purposely cut it off at 9, and then to speak on our pick, cut it off at 6 since 7 is our pick.
4 in the Top 6 is not happening.
(and 1999 draft strategy books have no reference to today's change of the game lmao.)

I wish I could agree with you that 4 won’t go top 6. I think this class has been hyped more than most as far as QB candidates and NFL teams that have basically set themselves up to “need” a QB.
this does not mean agree with so many QBs taken top 6. There is some real talent that teams are going to pass on to try addressing the QB position.

Oh but JRob is gone.. we should see better drafting, no?We can live without the next Dillion Radunz, Monty Rice and Dez Fitzpatrick

What’s crazy is he has like 10 visits and they’re all this week. It’s like one team found out about him and then all of a sudden everybody else did.Not sure he's a " best kept secret" with half the league going to watch him
