I see this D as a middle of the pack group. Plenty of room to improve but overall theyre fine

Ill take a downgrade in the secondary to what we had not going on up front last yr.

Front seven is solid, and thats where you want to be your best.

We had the best outcome weve had in 18 years last year and weve improved our defensive personnel. Just dealing with some injuries.
 
I’m not going to write it off completely, but we open up in Denver then have a short week for a divisional game, all with no real off season for them?

It’s just going to be some time before things fall into place. I highly doubt we’ll be having the same conversations about our defense in a month.

Just because we made it to the AFC Championship game last year doesn’t mean we didn’t have a weak link on the team.

That also carries zero weight headed into this season. We are missing one starter on defense. Remember when we all thought Lewan coming back after his suspension would fix the OL last year? We are making that same assumption with Adoree.

Not an overreaction in the slightest. Our secondary has been a concern for a while now.
 
Looking forward to seeing what Beasely, Clowney and Landry can do this week...that should help the secondary a bit

As the 3rd guy rotating in he may look really good

He has the ability, its his effort people always question. But if hes fighting for reps he could be something good. Hed also boost Clowney cause Clowney goes 100mph early then burns out if hes overused.

Glad we pulled out the W today. It’s looking like the Colts will be going to 2-1.
 
Geez, how bad are the Jets? How does management justify keeping that coaching staff intact for the remainder of the season. I get that Covid might force everyone to stay in place, but it's unreal how bad that team is.
