I'd like to see how that stat is actually calculated. If it includes his scramble time its irrelevant. The pocket completely collapses from every side immediately. Did you see Brisket or Minshew? They had all day and clean pockets every single play.

Excuses.
 
The problem is simple. Mariota is broken. He can't even throw a simple dump pass with accuracy. He could easily neutralize the rush with some accurate slants and outs.

Defenders know he is shell shocked so they are ALWAYS bringing an extra rusher when its a passing down. We need Tannehill in because of his accuracy. Otherwise, just keep playing Mariota cause we'll have a higher pick.
 
I agree, the line needs help. However, if MM made the throws when he had time, we could of scored. I thought our line was going to be awesome this year, its like we took a big step back.
 
It may be my absolute disgust over this team that fuels this post, but this team may get blown up soon, at least on offense. Too much money coming up in contracts and other than Henry there is not anyone i care about on offense. Finally have a D that might be decent, though I am ready to cut Adoree loose, but I thought last year we might be close and despite having two of the division’s best QBs go away this year we still look pathetic. We are so much worse than we were that I dont see a fix coming.

No fire...MM has no fire. I used to think Peyton was a jerk for yelling at his receivers and linemen but he had the fire burning through his pores to win. MM lays an egg or stands there waiting on a sack then looks to the sideline like he’s expecting a soccer mom to be over there yelling “it’s ok baby...you can do this!”

MM still throws flat footed, or at least his mechanics make him look like he does. I think that is why he is so in accurate or floating balls all over.

The defense held Fournette to -8 yards outside of 1 play after regularly being put back on the field after 4 plays. This defense is not the issue and I'm amazed that there are people here complaining about it after how bad this offense has been.
 
Man, talk about growing up with Munchak and Matthews........where have the linemen gone to?
 
Grown men getting paid millions...No need for respect here, nor has he really earned it, outside of being a nice guy....

They should evaluate their decision to dedicate season after season after season to trying to resurrect the magic of McNair. Will the Titans ever quit chasing McNair's ghost? He isn't coming back, guys! Quit sacrificing 5 years of football at a time drafting scrambling QBs trying to find the next McNair!! He isn't out there, draft a QUARTERBACK to stand in the pocket and throw the damn ball.
