I’ve about had it with the Mariota experiment too but you can’t pin tonight only on the QB. I’d put more of it on the Oline. No QB could succeed with less than a second to get the ball out.
 
As bad as #8 played, the line played even worse. No excuse for Mariota playing scared like he did but that was about as close as it gets to being a good excuse. Line was putrid. And I don't really use putrid much.

Mariota is broken. I kept hoping he'd come back to life and at least play like he did in year 1 and 2 but it's apparent he's done.

Some QBs start out rough and the light comes on and they play well... Mariotas bulb burned out somewhere along the lines. Coaching changes and injuries certainly didn't help. He plays scared and seems to not have the confidence he once did.

Tonight wasn't all on Mariota but he certainly had plenty of chances to turn this in to a game and couldn't. Tennessee needs a QB that can overcome the bad stuff and win games.

We have an average defense and a average RB. That's not a good combo to have a below average QB.

Titans in a nutshell

Clots trade a 3rd pick before the season starts(2017) dude is named the starter before this season because A.Luck retirees and all he does at the very least play well within his system.

Jags lose their star FA qb and some 6th rd qb is playing like a seasoned vet.

Texans move up in the draft for a qb that many questioned and all he's doing is lighting it up at qb

Titans draft a qb 2nd overall and all he's done is regress ...

SUCKS
