I heard theories that he hadnt gotten in shape bc he thought the season wasnt happening. I wonder if this is that or an injury we didnt know about.

They can cut him with no dead cap for a failed physical, right? I wont be sad if they do that and sign Clowney or Griffin.I think we know why he lurked around. Don’t think they can but him on the NFI for being fat.

I think you mean Clowney AND Griffin.They can cut him with no dead cap for a failed physical, right? I wont be sad if they do that and sign Clowney or Griffin.

And he costs nothing.For fun I figured up his per snap effectiveness for his last 8 games of 2019 and compared him to some of the top players in the game in 2019:

I know it's a small sample size, but he was honestly very good. Could use him affecting the QB a bit more, but still solid.

Seriously though.... hes a 9.5m cap hit. If we can cut him with no dead cap bc of this physical, we gotta do it at this point.

Does anyone wanr him anymore? I liked the signing but this has got to a point he makes AB look reliable.Guys we really don’t know at this point. Maybe he just got some sand in his hoohaa.

JROB you have to go get Clowney now... no ifs ands or buts.... you didn't draft anyone -- and i will be frightened if all we have to field is Landry.... and Correa... plus we don't even have Reggie Gilbert now, not important, but depth

If we can cut him without the hit then get rid of his ass. Obviously he was trying to hide something for not getting in touch and if he is unfit by not working out its not the attitude weve been building. Says alot to me that if fitness is not to a standard and your paid plenty for it, not someone id be interested in. Shame was pretty excited for this guy
