we are trying, we just arent trying to overpayI am not sure why we traded a 4th round for Tannehill and then didn’t try to sign for a longer term.
I mean at the point of the trade.we are trying, we just arent trying to overpay
reports were that they actually DID try to redo his deal at the time of the trade but tanne didnt want to because he wanted to bet on himself and test FA after 2019.Tannehill was not going to get 30 mil last year. If you give up a 4th, seems like they would have tried to re-do his contract for at least 2 years.
If that’s true he won the bet.reports were that they actually DID try to redo his deal at the time of the trade but tanne didnt want to because he wanted to bet on himself and test FA after 2019.
seems like he made the right call
yeah im sure we wouldve only offered him backup money in a restructure so he definitely wonIf that’s true he won the bet.
He knew Miami was crap and holding him back.yeah im sure we wouldve only offered him backup money in a restructure so he definitely won
Bottom line, without Tanny, we aren’t in the playoffs. Henry or not......We went from having virtually no pass game, to teams respecting our pass, which also helped Henry produce. Dude threw the team on his back and balled out. He made throws we haven’t seen made here in quite sometime. More importantly, the team rallied behind him more often than they did behind Mary. I don’t know how anyone wouldn’t want Tannehill back with a year behind in the system etc.
Tanne was throwing darts but these folks want old man Brady pushing to throw the ball 20 yards.Bottom line, without Tanny, we aren’t in the playoffs. That’s two fold though, at least against NE and Balt.I agree.
BUT we lucked into the playoffs, and during the playoffs it was the Henry show. Our passing game was nowhere to be seen.
KC was able to contain Henry so we needed Tammy to step up more. Didn't happen so we lost.I agree.

That sounds like a bad take which would come from an Oregon fan.KC was able to contain Henry so we needed Tammy to step up more. Didn't happen so we lost.
Why not both? Vrabel and Tom got together not to join teams but to get better deals for both.We arent using Tom, Tom is using us
What does being an Oregon fan have to do with anything. Is it not true KC stopped DH and we needed more from passing game? That sounds like a bad take which would come from an Oregon fan.
That's oversimplification... KC attacked and dominated our Oline, which was the way to stop Henry - NE and Baltimore tried to stop Henry only. What does being an Oregon fan have to do with anything. Is it not true KC stopped DH and we needed more from passing game?
The offense was unstoppable until we went to the Robiskie, run till it pops attack at the end of the first half. Tannehill probably attempted 1-2 passes between that time and the 4th quarter, when we got the ball back while being down 18.What does being an Oregon fan have to do with anything. Is it not true KC stopped DH and we needed more from passing game?
