Cant be an elite defense when the d-line has a hard time generating pressure on the QB. The secondary play covered it up for a while, but once injuries hit, it's been downhill

If the defense got the back for the MM8 lead offense they would be pretty sure that it would go to waste with a 3 and out. Now if they make a stop, they KNOW we can score at any time and at minimum sustain drives to give the defense some rest.
