What separates him from those in this category? It's not production, efficiency, win %, or any other factor unless you look strictly at SB victoriesTannehill isn't elite, really good but not elite.

Expanded the lead to 225 with 2 games to go. Rushing title looking extremely well.
2K race, with 147 he was short of the needed YPG for the last 3 BUT he's 321 shy of the mark. GB can be rushed on and we know he put up a 200+ earlier on Houston so it's not entirely out of the question yet.
He need 161 YPG over the next 2.
With 15 rushing TDs he is now only 3 away from tying the franchise record (18) with Earl Campbell.
He tied the Titans record set by Lendale White at 15.
Years doing it....I think elite is earned over years not games or 1-2 seasonsWhat separates him from those in this category? It's not production, efficiency, win %, or any other factor unless you look strictly at SB victories
Pit isn't even on there except 10th in TD.. talk about being carried by the defense

So there is no such thing as an elite season? Wouldn't you say Jamal Lewis had an elite season? In that season, he was "elite".The length of time at the top of the league.
I said it earlier, elite is used too often. THill with 2 excellent seasons cannot have reached a status of elite. Just not possible in 2 seasons to do it and I wouldn't say that his time in Miami added anything to the argument.
