Fucking hell.

The Titans are going to overpay for an OLB that annually gets 7 sacks a season when the draft is littered with DL/Edge players.

This source is apparently garbage . They are likely just "reporting" this based on Turron Davenport's articles.

Za'Darius Smith and Preston Smith are on Derrick Morgan's level of pass rush production. They have a combined 7 forced fumbles in their careers. That is not worth breaking the bank, which will inevitably happen because it's the first week of free agency.

I'd much rather have Justin Houston for two years than either of the Smiths for four.

Why are people getting so jacked to overpay a guy who never had more than 7.5 sacks in a season like he is the next big sack artists or something.

zadarius smith was never a full time starter and got those numbers though. not the same. read past the stats

you're right lets just move our depth, who got almost no sacks, up to 1st string and hope for the best. nobody needs a pass rush anyways

I'm just saying paying pass rusher money to guys who aren't really pass rushers doesn't make sense.

preston smith is a morgan clone, zadarius is def better. 8.5sacks while not being a starter, and he knows the pees system. he's our mark.

let flowers get overpaid by the colts or raiders
 
Smith had the 15th best pass rush grade in the league last year.

Miller
Watt
Houston
Garrett
Mack
Vernon
Lawrence
Jordan
Wake
Flowers
Clowney
Watt

then Zadarius

Pretty good company
