pretty much all of Jrobs contracts are set up to give us an out, just not sure why we wanted in on Jones

I'm as surprised as most by this move, i thought there was a chance he would be replaced sometime this season, not signing an extension.
 
They clearly think that he isn't the problem, and the guards were. If those guys struggle, the center will.
 
Jones had good weeks, the Guards...... Not so much so here we are with 2 new ones and Jones extended

Agreed, I was hoping they'd replace him in the draft.

Ben Jones honestly sucks, but the guys in the market right now are hot 3rd and 4th string garbage. Jrob pretty much doesn't have a choice. I mean I might of been more inclined to let jones play out the rest of his contract and then make a decision.

Exactly, I was just trying to make the point that just because Jones got extended doesn’t mean he’ll be here the following year like Kline isn’t.
