We scored 16 points, gave up 193 rushing yards, had one sack and no turnovers. That game was sh*t. Titans fans have been lulled back into pitifully low standards when that game is considered "decent".
Offense played decent.Tannehill, Hopkins and Spears made some great plays. With some help from the defense, the offense was good enough to give the Titans a chance til the end.

Defense was bad. But not like it was a complete blow out. Bad performance by the defense all around, I'll give you that.

But if you've ever watched a Titans game before, you shouldn't expect a 40 point, 10 sack beat down... that happens like once every 5 years. They played a typical Titans stick around til the end and hope to sneak out a win type game.

Sometimes I wonder about you.
Wanna tell me where I'm wrong? at least 4-5 first down conversions by Minshew on 3rd down. That's not counting all of the other throws he made.

Can't prove it, but I think the Titans had a better chance of winning that game if Richardson was playing.

MInshew also tore us up when he was with the Jags.

23 games now. If Mike Vrabel represents a continuation of "typical Titans football" they need to move off of him after this season.

Still can't get over that silly 4th and 1 call.
that call was beyond awful...i'm sure the local media didn't go near it with press conferences just like they didn't go near 4th down of kicking he field goal against the saints with 2 minutes left and down by 4pts....vrabel is not a smart man....

Well yeah, but Defense wins. Championships.
--Vrabel, probably
Not sure how not scoring 30 points in forever proves anything contrary to defense winning championships.
Having a good offense is not mutually exclusive to good or bad defense.

I haven't read through this thread. I just jumped on to say we lost this game because of coaching. On the 4th down attempt in the 4th quarter, I was saying out loud, take the 3 points... take the 3 points... take the 3 points. What happened, we trot out the offense. Fine. Vrabel, you have confidence in your offense, ok, I'll ride along. But then what's the play call on 4th and 1? A goal line dive with Henry? No. A "tush push" that's been extremely effective across the league and we have a mobile QB? No. Henry out of Wildcat that works every time? No. Some sort of bootleg with Tanny where he was the option to pass or run? No.

How about a HB counter out of shotgun?? Genius! We can blame (insert any) OC, but Vrabel still approves the playbook. He sees the plays in practice. He hears the play call during games. In his first press conference as coach, he said he has final say in whatever play the offense runs. So it's your fault dude!

Running Henry out of shotgun is ALMOST as stupid all the tosses we run with him. Get under center and give him the ball when he already has some momentum. Not when he's flatfooted and changing directions. I literally said this last week, and yet here we are again. Asinine.

If that's a 1 point game in the 4th, the Colts aren't as comfortable killing all the clock. They also don't have a full 95 yards to go. We could technically give up a TD and put the ball back in our hands down by 8. Stupid coaching x 2.

vrabel a good guy players love him in lockerRoom but sadly that doesn't pay the rent; the 4th down call giving it to henry with everyone in the stadium knew he was getting the ball. That is what is so frustrating is the lay fan can tell when henry is getting the ball there is zero deception with the titans 'attack' they also never throw to the tight end and use him as a blocker 95 percent of the time...not sure why this is the case.
