It's football if you want to cut down on injuries and to "protect" the players then take the pads off the players.Ok, we got that, everyone saw that, the flag was thrown b/c there's no need to plow into the BACK of the receiver. You wanna get involved in the play, wrap him up and bring him down. It wasn't THAT he made he play, it was the type of play that he made. THAT's why they threw the flag.
