Week 1 is never a must win.
And lots if goofy **** happens in week 1 across the league every year. Never trust week 1s win or lose.
If we lose to them I feel we end up 8-8 at the end of the season. All I’m saying is when we are 9-7 at week 17 with a loss to the Browns, I better not hear any of y’all ***** about it.
for us it often seems it isn't even relevant.....just running random plays.Lots of teams figuring out who they are and what works or doesn't work in the first few games.
Preseason doesn't count.
Of the season? How is an out of division game 1 the most important game of the season??
My point of view, and I thought about it before I typed it out, is I can’t imagine anything more draining than losing to the Browns after doing so much to improve.
We are a better team, and have been for awhile, we got hot late in the season, things started to click and we have a chip on our shoulder.
And then we lose to the Browns......
Fantastic!
I just feel week 1, against another team that’s ‘hot’ should be a statement game.
And nobody but Titans fans would care. Now, beat the browns, colts, and jags back to back to back...
:trophy:And nobody but Titans fans would care.
Yea I hear ya. The Titans never beat good teams, those teams they beat just have bad days and lost not because of the Titans being good. It's such BS.
They started talking about us... right before our first loss.I remember our last good season. The 13-3 year. We were like 10-0 or something, and you heard nothing about us.
I don't care about hype. I want playoff seeding. I want the road to the super bowl to go through Nashville.
View attachment 16103 View attachment 16103 I know it’s way too early and it’ll probably go down but as of today (7/12) these are the odds for Titans at Browns.
Basically we are HUGE underdogs.
I wouldn't call 5.5 points a HUGE underdog. But we will see how the line moves.
Yeah we will see how it plays out. I think we all remember the dream team Eagles.Well, the Browns did win the offseason

Yeah we will see how it plays out. I think we all remember the dream team Eagles.
The talent gap is so thin in the NFL that a small advantage in talent isn't going to overcome systemic incompetence. And the Browns are the most incompetent organization in the league.
