Pretty obvious this whole "Patriots of the South" thing is not going to work, especially when we keep signing players the Patriots let go for more money than New England would have paid for them. I do like Logan Ryan though, as he's the only one that has really worked out.

I hate rebuilding as much as the next guy, but this team is hot garbage on offense thanks to Vrabel and Robinson accepting mediocrity in the form of Arthur Smith and bad OL management. I'm sorry, but we don't need a guy like Mike Vrabel, who had no head coaching experience prior, to be the guy leading this team. Hell, he wasn't even that good of a defensive coordinator. And Jon Robinson? Drafting bust after bust after bust with our top picks. Or trading up so we have a total of 4 picks in one draft. WTF? Extending Ben Jones, signing Dion Lewis (who sucks) and Butler (also sucks), not addressing the OL issues when it became known Lewan would be out for the first four games, the list goes on and on. I really don't know what the team can do now to fix things. Luck and Foles being out should at least put us in the top two of the AFC South, but after just 3 games, we're clearly last.

Just wanted to get your guys' thoughts. Being a Titans fan right now sucks. Seeing QBs like Mahomes and Jackson lead explosive offenses leads me to believe it's time for an overhaul. Back up the money truck to Lincoln Riley and his staff. Do whatever it takes. Especially if he somehow turns Jalen Hurts into a good passer. We need a bright offensive mind, not some guy who rose through the coaching ranks because he was a Patriot and is a "player's coach."

Butler's biggest problem is that last moment when the ball arrives. He'll do a great job of staying with his guy and get his head around and everything and still lose the one on one for the ball.

I'd like to see a change of direction of our WR. Where they all change their routes towards the pocket where they pickup the ball before anyone can get there.

Since this team became the Titans - and a little before - even through all the coaching, GM and player changes... some things remain consistent...

Offensive style, type of players, defensive deficiencies (inability to tackle), and just general philosophy.

These may change slightly, but at the end of every season, it seems the same issues over and over.

Why is that? Are all the hires based around wanting employees with a particular style of football in mind? And then it trickles down from there.

Maybe THEREIN lies the real problem. This organization hires only if "they" agree with the owner instead of being swayed in a possibly different direction.

If that's the case... it truly is "topdown" and we will never be successful unless we have a superstar roster.

I think that our biggest problems are OL and QB play at this point. Getting Lewan back will help, but the unfortunate reality is that MM8 is not going to be our franchise QB. I did not like it when we drafted him (actually did not like any of the QB draftees that year), but I really like his personality and community presence (from what I read anyway), so it pains me to say this.

On GM, bottom line is this IMO...we need to stick with JRob, whose next move is going to be figuring out our path to getting our Franchise QB. Based on his other picks and moves, I still trust him on this.

I also think that Vrabel is still learning his craft...none of the recent issues on clock control and challenges really surprise me. In a perfect world I would have liked for him to retain LeBeau as an assistant HC (mainly to act as a mentor), but now he is learning via hard knocks. I like his style, and would like to see us give him more time as well.

Vrabel is fine....Jrob hit or miss, but leagues better than Ruston Webster. Mariota is done for...Might as well just accept that, because there is absolutely no way he is getting extended after this crap show, and rightfully so.

I think it’s important to remember Mariota isn’t JRob’s QB. Every GM in the league wants to build around their own guy.

He’ll get his shot next year.

I think its really important to notice that JRob had kept this awful QB at the helm for the last three years. Its really shocking, honestly. You'd figure that a guy that the fanbase calls "J God" is smart enough to realize that he doesnt have a starting caliber QB at the helm within the first or at the very least second year as a GM.

If some people take a step back, they'll realize the team being built up around the QB position... with or without Mariota.

Oline needs shoring up, sure... but if we do find a QB after Mariota the team will be setup.

I feel pretty good about the key pieces this team is accruing.

Absolutely. Zero allegiance to Mariota. Neither of them drafted him. They will want their own guy, and I’m betting that’s coming sooner than later. I will say that it’s disappointing that they are continuing to watch Mary regress and put us in bad positions, when they claim to want to “win now”. I’m not saying Tannehill is the answer, but hell, it can’t get any worse. Might as well see what we have.

Why do you think he brought in Tanny?

You forget JRob has a boss? Amy loves her some Marcus.

This man has whiffed on the majority his early round picks. You really think he’s equipped to properly evaluate and draft a legit QB for this franchise?

And the one QB he did draft didn’t even make the opening week roster and is already on his 3rd or 4th team.
