Fisher did not make personnel decisions back then.

Be happy about that too. He didn't want Steve McNair, he wanted that big WR from Colorado and to roll with Chris Chandler.
I have NO DOUBT fishface didn't want HOF'er RANDY MOSS...I also will go to my GRAVE KNOWING that if the TITS had been smart enough to draft him we might well have had 2 SUPER BOWL RINGS. 1999 and 2000. Imagine the O with EDDIE, STEVE, and a IN HIS PRIME RANDY MOSS. DAMN

maybe

it was Floyd's call though

I agree on the Owl rings too

That is a great list, nice work.

I will take issue with your number 1 worst trade. There is absolutely 0 chance the Oilers were going TE in the first round that year. Frank Wycheck was young and proving to have a ton of potential. Meanwhile, that year, we were desperate for DE. It was going to be a DE that year.

Yeah I respect that. It’s all conjecture anyways. It just looked bad that the team they traded back with, just happened to be the one who snagged the future slam-dunk hall of famer.

At the time of course , a pass rusher was more of a need than TE with Wychek just starting to emerge. Still stings though. :disappointed:

Reality again... even if we did draft Moss - big if - we wouldn't have utilized him very well.

Our OC was Les Steckle, for God's sake!

Moss would've been broken one year in.

I contend that the Minnesota offense AND Chis Carter were perfect for him.

best thing for Moss was us passing him over. Those Viking teams loved to throw deep.
