Did Corey show up today?

Had a couple of tough catch and runs and had another play where he played db and saved a potential interception. Also got wide open once, but Tammy threw it 5 feet over his head.

All and all, a pretty nice game.

This was the first game this season that I was able to watch the Titans on a regular TV screen (been watching them on a tablet app for the other games). Folks I watched the game with were bullish on our chances today, but as a three decades plus long fan of this team I cautioned them that I have become used to being "disappointed" by this team when it counted. Today was a great example of this.

By the numbers, we did fairly well. Tannehill started slow, but played well in the second half. AJ Brown is going to be a stud IMO (if he stays healthy). Henry was tough, although he had to play in a lower gear today due to the hammy IMO. Defense was ok, but we had no answers for Watson....(who does though).

I put 70ish% of this on our coaching....I am sorry, but in the second quarter, after Derek Henry was gashing the Cow D for 8+minutes to get first and goal on the 3 yard line, why in the H@#& do you call a pass play? Yeah, the fumble was unfortunate, but why not just keep feeding Henry there??? IMO that completely changed the game, and we never recovered from that.

At any rate, we have the Saints next week (tough game), and the Cows at home after that, Our prospects of making the postseason took a very serious hit today. After the season we need to take a hard look at our OC IMO....then, also, as discussed by others, we need to move on from Succop. 1-6 on FGs is just not acceptable at any level of play here.

This was the most frustrating thing to me. Casey is done, IMO. Simmons is solid against the run but not nearly as effective rushing the passer. Landry was a non-factor most of the game too. He has to develop more moves.

I don’t know if there is anyone hitting free agency but it has to be a priority this offseason.

Agreed on Casey. Outside of a few plays here and there, he has been a nonfactor all season. I think with Simmons, we have to remember that he came back from an ACL injury much earlier than expected. I want to see how he does next year as a pass rusher because from what i've seen so far, he can really push lineman back with authority.

That Firk fumble did us in.

I already knew it was going to be a tough game from the start. We just can't give up those type of plays against the Texans.

Going up 7-0 to being down 14-0 is something we just couldn't come back from.
I distinctly remember the Titans tying the game at 14-14 with 13 mins left... 100% came back from horrible first half - yet again.

only to fold on D like a bunch of punks once the comeback happened... pathetic

Should have had 3 maybe 6 points before half even with the TO.
Sucks**t got blocked then Vrabel wouldn’t even let him (or any other K) try for the 55 yarder.
He opted for the terrible fake punt.

If u can’t win a must win home game against a division foe you shouldn’t be in the playoffs

I agree... but it was winnable AND a well played game.

A bounce or 2 the other way and Titans are in the driver's seat.

Man that's a depressing read ugh ... Even if we win both games we still need help and I don't have much faith in the Jets or Bucs so I think we are sunk F Sucopp that dude needs to go tomorrow !!

Yep, Titans did what they do every season, shit the bed. I can't imagine how many points Brees and Co. will put up on this defense next week.

Yea.
They played well enough to win. A bad bounce on an INT and a s**t kicking game cost us.

Heres the problem we never get a bounce or two and always fail when we are in the drivers seat. Frustrating beyond belief

Kick was low. It's not like the Texans blew up the line there, they just got their hands up. If Succop needs to have the trajectory needed for a 50-60 yard kick for a 40 yard ish attempt, it should be clear that his leg is shot.

Succop should be off the roster this time tomorrow, in my opinion.
BS4 shanked a 34 yarder as halftime practice was ending... Brinkley, Kern & Succup did another so BS4 could make a damn XP in freaking practice!

Agreed... we did manage to almost overcome it, though.

When I saw the 14-0 score, I never dreamed we'd end up only losing by 3.

This wasn't quite "typical Titans".

Especially considering we've almost always had a good kicking game.

yep... fooled nobody... should have just left the O out there for a 4th & 10

what I saw from my All22 perspective...

Titans did not blitz... at all. Rushed 4 and kept a spy. They were not the same 4 every time but I did not see them blitz

kept 6 in coverage whole game... small D got gashed in run go figure

It’s amazing how this team finds ways to lose in must win games. To be honest if we don’t pick off Watson twice it probably would have been way worse

I know... but on the other hand, we did and in the past, the final score would've been 35-14, or something.
