No. Ne hes not. Not even close.
Mariota ran a 4.52 at the combine.
Other notable players:
Henry: 4.54
Dion: 4.57
AJ Brown: 4.49
Corey Davis: 4.53
Tajae: 4.55
Tannehill: 4.7
Adoree: 4.42
Byard: 4.51
He's certainly not the fastest, but hes not too far off.

I'm seeing this as a quick screen with option to run or throw and even release whoever was QB releasing to opposite side- there is SO much possibility to at least FREEZE the secondary. it's going to limit their blitz options just have them both on the field.

If RT had played 16 games, he might have been MVP, don’t take the ball out of his hands.

We should use this package anytime we would normally put Lewis in, can’t hurt Lewis sucks anyways why not confuse the patriots!

I am completely with you on this. If this were so novel - like the first time when Miami rediscovered the Wildcat and used it on New England, that would be one thing. This is not all that special now in terms of surprise. It would be more of a surprise to have a non-QB throw the ball on a backward pass than having two QBs on the field at the same time. The rate of success with RT at QB is so high compared to the benefit of a 2QB set I can't see how you could justify it.

Because Tannehill's original position was WR.

Common sense.
But Tannehill is better at QB than Mariota, and every WR on the roster is better than Tannehill.

I think they just did that cause Mariota was crying on the sideline and Vrabel didn't want to get in a fight with his dad after the game in the parking lot.

Except to hand off to the leagues leading rusher?

It’s ok to take the ball out of his hands for 1 maybe 2 plays a game, excluding the 20 or so times he hands off.

I doubt Mariota cried, not in his character, and they certainly wouldn’t have given a crap the other 10 games, so that wouldn’t make sense now.

The other point is I bet THill down to Mariota at QB is less of a step down the THill to Mariota at WR.
THill played WR, Mariota didn’t.

Dude. Being a hater is dumb.

Mariota wasn't "crying on the sideline". Come on.

I think things like this and what the Saints do with Hill are probably the future of NFL, having guys playing multiple positions with different packages. So I'd like to see more of this stuff from the Titans also I like seeing jonnu at RB too seems like he's gonna break off a long run.

Hardly see this as the future of the NFL. It’s just a nice to have and a rarity that you can get players capable of playing QB and another position.

If this had any real future of regularity, it would have started back with kordell Stewart or Antwan randle el.

Not when hess your franchise q.b.
It’s not like we’re sending him over the middle in traffic. Even Tom frickin Brady has been given a couple opportunities to catch the ball and he has a 0 in athleticism.
