Exactly my point Lewan feels like give his play and availability, if he were the Titans he wouldn't be happy. It's called foreshadowing, Lewan knows the price tag he carries, he knows there some big names coming up on the team that need resigning. When Lewan is out and back ups and rookies perform up to or surpass his(Lewan) play he knows he's becoming expendable. Subconsciously foreshadowing his own future with his comments about play and availability.Or maybe you're breathing way too much into those words? How do you go from there to he doesn't want to be here and he has a beef with Vrabel?
When he said he would release him if he were the GM, he was simply just criticizing his own poor play, not stating his desire to be released.
