I’ll only want Rivers if Tanny leaves , other than that Tanny is fine . Get edge rusher and shore up Oline and get some young qb to groom this year or next.

Rivers looks bad and I mean really bad. The only thing keeping him semi relevant these days is that he lofts his throws sky high and Williams and Allen has the ability to get the jump balls. His throws has no zip at all and when he tries to zip the ball, it looks like he's about to dislocate his shoulder.

I could see Mariota playing for the Chargers next year.

For 1 or 2 years, hell yeah. But he's not a long term solution.

Rather have Bridewater or Scam Newton if we're going the FA/trade route.

WOAAAHHHHH! Pump the brakes there a bit! Mary over Rivers (at any age)? lolz
at least MM8 house dont need its own zip code

for the people unable to keep up. Rivers has like 27 kids so his house needs its own zip code.

also not really but THAT is the joke

That many kids, not good for the climate

Hard pass on Rivers. Remember, he was in the same draft class as Eli and Roethlisberger, he's 37 and not getting any younger and his play is starting to decline. Doesn't matter if he wants to play here, I doubt the Titans want him. I'd rather roll with Tanney and draft a rookie.

Thats my bet as to what we do

Tanny is earning a deal and if he fails next yr I think this staff wants some job security.

2nd rd pick on a rookie, just so much pressure with a 1st rd QB, plus it costs money when you draft high. Why tie up money on the bench if Tanny keeps the job..

Of you are going to draft a qb because you are looking for the future you take the best prospect on your board that you can get, regardless of round. No position is more important, so you don’t f around. Now if you can get the prospect you want in round to, do it. But if you gotta pull the trigger in round one you do it.

Id normally agree with you 100% on that, but say Tanny keeps the job, plays well, now you have a QB just wasting away for 3+ yrs.

Well that is a different story. I think you need to decide if you are going with Tanny for three + and he is the qb for the foreseeable future or if you need to draft the future. If you are going with Tanny there is no way I take a qb in the first two or three rounds. But if you are looking for the next starter and Tanny is a stopgap you go with the best qb can draft. Don’t try to do both—no half ass compromise.
